I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I currently have two large dogs of my own not where I currently live but at my home away from college, so I’m very comfortable with walking, feeding, playing, bathing, and keeping pets on their routines. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to care for their pets while they are away because I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely love animals. As a college student-athlete, I’m active, responsible, and able to handle energetic dogs while making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.

I provide a safe, caring, and comfortable environment for every pet I watch. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and understand the importance of routines, exercise, and attention. I always make sure pets have fresh water, plenty of playtime, and a clean, stress free environment. I’m also very attentive to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

Alanah took great care of our dog Sonic. He was a very happy boy when he came home. She let him cuddle on her bed and furniture which he loves. She would put on YouTube to drown out sounds so that he wouldnt bark at every passing person. She had a nice fenced in yard that he was able to spend time in. Would definitely use again in the future.
Alanah is one of the most trusted and reliable caregiver I have ever encountered. Not only is she a wonderful friend and person, but she has really helped my family in times of need. Alanah has helped care for my pets when we had 5 dogs, 3 of which are extremely stubborn! We were on vacation about 9 hours away when a dog sitter cancelled on us last minute. Luckily, Alanah stepped up to the plate in a matter of hours. She is reliable in situations like that, but she is also extremely responsible in any duties you may give her. She even took up the duty of watering all of our gardens and plants (which are a ton🤣). I’ve seen her interact with all pets alike (even chickens!) and she will always give them all so much love and care. She is no ordinary pet sitter, she is one that puts her heart and soul into whomever she is caring for! As a person who has known Alanah for quite some time, I can attest that she will go above and beyond for your pets and show them all the love they deserve!
Alanah has helped take care of my dog Rascal multiple times and I genuinely trust her completely with him. She’s done overnights, walks, feeding, playtime, and overall daily care, and she always goes above and beyond. Rascal gets excited every time he sees her, which says a lot because he can be picky with people. She’s responsible, communicative, and really pays attention to his routine and needs. Whether it’s making sure he gets enough exercise on walks or keeping him comfortable during overnight stays, I always know he’s in good hands. She also sends updates and photos which makes me feel reassured while I’m away. I would highly recommend Alanah to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and genuinely great with dogs.

Schedule
I currently am a student athlete at University of New Haven. I am consistently in West Haven and rarely take trips out of town other than the spring when my season starts on the weekends.
