Hello! My husband Nick and I work from home and would love to watch your furry baby during the day. We are new to Rover but not new to taking care of animals. Besides having childhood pets, we have been pet owners for over 10 years. We have fostered and dog-sat several dogs in the past and have had a few dogs of our own but do not currently have any. We aren't ready to adopt another family member just yet but miss having dogs around occasionally. We have indoor and outdoor cats (all up to date on vaccines and are all fixed) so your dog(s) would need to be cat savvy or disinterested in cats. Your dog(s) would hang out with humans (and kitties) all day while you're at work or running errands. We have a fenced in backyard and could take them on walks around the neighborhood. Do you have a dog that can't go to regular doggy day care (maybe because they aren't dog friendly) or perhaps they have separation anxiety or need more frequent bathroom breaks, then look no further. We would love to care for your fur baby like our own.

Alaina and Nick were wonderful! My pup stayed one day during the day while I visited a friend nearby. He had a great time and was very well cared for. Communication was great before, during, and after his stay. 10/10 would trust Alaina and Nick to watch him again.
I cannot recommend Alaina highly enough! I was looking for care for my four cats three of whom have special needs, and she absolutely went above and beyond all my expectations. It can be stressful to leave special needs pets behind, but Alaina made the process completely worry-free. She was incredibly responsive, sent great updates, and handled all of their specific care instructions and medications perfectly. It is rare to find someone so attentive and capable. If you are looking for a trustworthy sitter who truly cares about animals, look no further. I will absolutely be booking her again!
I’ve had Alaina and her partner look after my cat multiple times, and they’ve done a fantastic job of caring for her — like many cats, she has high standards for the company she keeps. I get lots of pictures and an update when they watch her, and their attention to detail means I don’t worry about my cat or anything else. They also were lovely with my stranger danger dog, going at her pace and respecting her boundaries. I would highly recommend them for pet sitting!
I strongly recommend Alaina and Nick to care for your beloved pet without hesitation. They show their compassion for animals in the loving way they tend to your pet, consistently acting responsibly and attentively to meet every need. They have years of experience pet sitting and fostering different dogs. They look after my anxious, sensitive dog- and I don’t trust just anyone to do that!
I know Alaina for over 16 years and besides taking care of her own dogs she has taken care of my dogs every time we have gone away. My husband and I have never had to worry about their care. Recently she has been fostering dogs and have helped them get adopted. You would not be able to find any one better. She is loving and responsible with all animals.
Alaina is a huge animal lover and fantastic parent to her kitties. She has had several dogs of her own, including foster dogs, and she goes out of her way to make sure they feel loved. She has watched my dogs several times, especially in times of emergency, and I know I can count on her to take good care of them.

We have a fenced in backyard for bathroom breaks and play time and a nice quiet neighborhood for walks. We have a quiet home with indoor and outdoor cats and no kids.

A typical day
With a fenced in backyard, your dog can have as much outside time as you'd like. We can take them on a walk around the neighborhood and I also have plenty of toys, comfy dog beds, and treat focused games (like snuffle mats and puzzles).
