Ive been involved in pet care my whole life, growing up in a multi-pet household and involved in pet responsibilities from a young age. Ive always had dogs and cats, and have also had a bunny and guinea pig when I was younger. As well as this, I have been around horses throughout my life but became more involved about 6 years ago. Since then, I have leased 2 horses and was able to buy my own 2.5 years ago. I am very comfortable caring for animals of all types. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes, and am confident handling them all. I was very involved in the training of my family dog Zoey when I was a kid, attending training classes with her and have been fascinated with dog training ever since. I also trained my parents Dachshund puppy Ollie last year before leaving for college. He is a very sweet, well mannered boy! Zoey has always been a very sensitive dog, while Ollie was always very bold, so I understand both of those personality types quite well. I also have experience with cats and love them. I have both a very shy skittish cat as well as a social butterfly, so I have experience with both. I worked at a horse barn for 2 years as a groom, feeder, and also did turnout and barn chores.
