I’ve been an animal lover since I was born. My first pet was a 160 pound Bull Mastiff; we were inseparable up until the day he passed. I am particularly fond of large dogs because of him, but I love every dog I meet. I also love learning about dogs and found my career path in this passion. I am pursing a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine (specializing in Infectious Diseases and Immunology) at the University of Florida. My thesis focus is on shelter canines and vector-borne parasites that affect them. I am finishing up remotely in Tampa to be closer to my grandparents. I have a rescue mixed-breed pup, Jasper, who I adopted in 2017. Jasper has been by my side for over 8 years now, and has taught me so much about rescues and their tendencies. I also have expertise in caring for cats, rodents, and reptiles from previous pets I have cared for and owned. I currently have 2 pet rats, Tilly and Poppy. They are rescues ratties and the sweetest little girls ever.

My pup is a runner - I never let him leave the house unless his harness is on. I will keep this strict rule for any dogs I walk, as you can never be too careful. I am also very mindful of reactive dogs, and know to avoid other dogs/people with these particular dogs.

Great sitter!
Alaina is an absolute gem. Her communication leading up to the day I left was top tier. Communication during was just as good. Which is huge for me. My 3 pups were well taken care of and I felt safe having her in my home. Highly recommend.
Alaina was SO AMAZING and communicated with us really well which was a huge win for me!! She was so thoughtful when helping mister pickles who is just a puppy still and right from the start we trusted her! Mister pickles immediately warmed up to her! I would 1000% recommend and trust her with any animal because she really does care and love them!!!
Alaina visited our dog as a last minute request. We know our dog is in good hands. She made everyone feel very comfortable. I love her great transparency and communication.
Alaina is a great communicator. We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter. She sends photos, asks questions if she needs clarifications, and is friendly. Our dog has well cared for and it's a relief to find someone we can trust. We will definitely book her again.
Alaina is amazing! She took such good care of our bearded dragon and hedgehog. She is very responsive to texts and is very attentive to their care. I would absolutely have her watch our pets again!

Schedule
I am up with the sun everyday to take care of my own pup, so will happily be able to take care of your babies bright and early. Because I am remotely finishing school, my schedule is open and flexible.
