I am currently on summer break from teaching. With the exception of some dates I will be out of town, my schedule is flexible. During the school year, I have availability on weekends and after 4 PM most weekdays.

Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover from the time I was very young. One of my first jobs was a daily dog walking job with my sister, when I was 10 and she was 13. We got our first dog when I was 6 years old, and I took him on many walking adventures through neighborhoods and trails. I have lived with and cared for a variety of dogs in my life, from Chihuahuas to Goldendoodles, to Retrievers, and Pitbulls. My partner and I had a sweet pittie mix for the past 10 years, but we just lost her to cancer at the end of the spring. I would love to use some of my time to give love to other dogs, as I am on my summer break from teaching. My strengths as a dog sitter are that I am very dependable, I have a calm temperament, strong attentiveness and intuition to what dogs need, and I'm very detail oriented. I have experience caring for dogs in all stages of life, and am comfortable providing medication and special care when needed. I also am very active and would be happy to jog or play with your pet in whatever capacity serves them!

Akash is a super caring pet owner and sitter. He’s responsible, attentive, and genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs. He makes sure they have everything they need, whether that’s spending time on a long walk, playing with toys, or cuddling on the couch.
Akash is a very beautiful soul. He has a lot of compassion for all animals, but especially dogs. We were roommates for many years and shared responsibilities for our two dogs together Priya and Kyrie. He treated Kyrie like he was his own son. He’s awesome about walking the dogs regularly and paying attention to their needs. Recently, his best friend Priya just passed away. He was so kind and gentle with her and took care of her to the very end. I think he would be an awesome part of your program if you allowed him the opportunity.
