I work from home and can watch your fur-baby all day! I have 1 dog and 1 cat, both of whom are accustomed to sharing their home. My home is mostly open-concept, which means lots of space for indoor play when it's too hot, cold, or rainy to be outside. The yard is large and open. My husband and I both volunteered the the SPCA of Texas when we lived in Dallas, where we were trained as animal behaviorists focused on enrichment activities for dogs and helping rescues learn basic commands to get ready to live in a family setting. We're both passionate about balancing play with training, which means we try to spend some time each day training our dog (and yours!) with both verbal commands and hand signals. If there's any commands in particular you and your pup are working on, just let us know and we'll keep the training going while we take care of your pup!

Adrienne and Jacob took very good care of Ms. Texas. They sent lots of photos and little stories of how Texas spent her day. I could tell Texas had a happy time.

Adrienne and Jacob exceeded all expectations! Even trained our untrainable pup to not join at the dinner table! I felt our pup was well taken care of and loved! Was even afraid he may not want to come back home! I’d definitely refer them to anyone looking for doggy care! Our dog gave them some troubles with pottying for whatever reason (acting out because we left him maybe?) and they didn’t kick him out haha thankfully! Instead they gave him grace and trained him to be better! I appreciated all the daily updates, pictures and videos!

Tidsplan
Adrienne works from home and is there all the time, so pet care is a persistent thing. On nice days, she works from the sunroom, and both our animals are usually found on the couches in there with her, happily basking in the sun. In the evenings and on weekends, the whole family is home and plays together, including the pets. We go outside for fun as often as the weather allows.

We have a dog who will be more than happy to keep your pup company, and with Adrienne working from home full time, someone is always around to ensure a safe and fun environment where everyone is getting along. There's also plenty of space to separate pets in case a little independent time is needed.

With a background in dog behavior and enrichment training, I embrace learning in dogs and encourage their active little minds with a variety of toys - from squeakers to tug toys to frisbees and more. If you know your dog loves a particular activity, I'm happy to work it into our day! We live in a nice neighborhood and love to go for walks! Our dog is also quite high-energy and will be more than happy to play tag or keep away with your dog in our yard a few times each day!
