Adrian has been my best friend since 4th grade, almost 20 years ago, and it's not common for friends to stay close for that long, but here we are. There's a reason why he's been a consistent and central part of my life ever since, and I can sum it up pretty succinctly: he's just a genuinely good person. He's intelligent both emotionally and intellectually; he always shows up, good times and bad; he takes care of his people; and he gives great advice. He's always been great with animals. Whether it's his own pets or other people's pets, animals like him, and he likes them, and I think pets tend to be pretty great judges of character. He's had lots of pets throughout his life, and always takes incredible care of them; I've never seen an animal living with Adrian that wasn't generally stoked to be around him. He gives all his pets the attention, care, and environment they need. For example, one of his current pets, an old cat named Bowie, has to take meds twice a day, and Adrian is obsessively attentive to Bowie's medical needs. Adrian grew up walking my childhood dog (and his own). He's petsat for my animals countless times, and I always know they'll be just as happy hanging out with him as they are with me. Adrian is a true animal lover at heart. He feels each animal is special and unique and feels best when he is surrounded by them! He is responsible, adaptable, and has experience with “difficult” dogs and higher maintenance breeds, border collies and huskies. He is enthusiastic to learn and is detailed oriented. He follows directions well and you can be assured your pet will be treated as if it were his own.
