When I was a little girl my father brought me a village kitten and from that moment on I've always had cats in my life. So feeding them and looking after them was always my job, and caring for a cat has never felt like a task to me. It was just everyday life. For two years in Moscow I regularly boarded cats at my home. They were all different: pedigree cats with very particular habits, shy ones who needed a few days before they'd come out, and playful street cats who wanted attention from minute one. That experience taught me to read a cat's mood, notice when something is off, and adjust the routine to the cat instead of expecting the cat to adjust to me. I've also travelled to other cities to house sit and look after cats in their own homes, staying in someone else's houses and keeping their pet's routine exactly as it was. Every one of those owners trusted me with their keys and their cat, and I took that seriously. Now I live in The Hague with my partner, five minutes from HS station, and I work from home. That means your cat is not alone during the day. I'm there for feeding, playtime, litter box, and simply for company. A few things about how I work: – I only take one cat at a time. No other pets in the flat, no competition for space or attention. Your cat gets the whole home. – Every day I send you a photo report: how your cat is doing, what they got up to, how they're eating and sleeping. – You can video call any time you'd like to see your cat with your own eyes. I know how it feels to miss your pet while you're away. – Our apartment is very clean, and there are no restrictions for the cat. Sofa, bed, chairs, all of it is theirs. Before the stay I always ask about food, routine, favourite toys and any medication or health details, so the cat feels comfortable. I'm looking forward to hosting your cat!
