I currently work full time at Wild Heart Brewing which takes up my evenings between Wednesday and Saturday. I also work at a horse barn on Thursday/Friday mornings. Between all that I am able to fit in a few house visits and walks on those days, and have open availability on Mondays and Tuesdays.

In my own home, I have a senior dog who mostly naps and a puppy who mostly plays, but is either with me at the horse barn (he's an excellent farm dog!) or crated when I'm not home. My own property is 2 acres and not fenced in, which is fine for my 2 boys who stay with me, but I would keep a client's dog on a long leash and on me at all times. My house is very dog friendly and I have a crate, doggie gate, lots of water dishes, and plenty of beds and toys.

Information Addyson C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any quirks or medical needs your dog may have. My late dog Moose had epilepsy so I am familiar with that particular issue. Since I do have 2 dogs I'll need to know about any food or toy aggression, and I also have a cat who mostly keeps to herself but her safety is important to me, so issues with cats will need to be noted. I'll need to know if you have a runner, as my property is not fenced, so I'd like to be prepared ahead of time. Honestly I'd prefer as much details as possible: that's what I give anyone who watches my own dogs!
A typical day
I am able to do just about anything you'd like your dog to do! I take my own puppy to the Byerly dog park in Hartsville and for walks around town, including trivia nights and play dates with friends. At home we play a ton, especially with the hose, and both my boys hang out with me while I do outside chores in the garden and around the property. We can go to the lake, run out in the country, go for drives, anything your pup enjoys.

Pet care experience
As a former zookeeper, I have been able to care for and work with so many animals beyond just cats and dogs: owls, macaws, sloths, flamingos, anteaters, reptiles of all shapes and sizes! That being said, I have always been a dog person and have taken care of other people's pets since I was 15. That particular part of my resume (dog sitting and walking) spans from walking pairs of huskies through the suburbs of Charlotte as a teenager, to walking guest's french bull dogs and what-have-you at the RV park I worked at in Wyoming! I am available for drop-ins and walks, and potentially pet sitting if they are able to stay at my house (2 acres, spacious interior, 2 welcoming dogs). I myself have owned dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, chickens, ducks and horses and am available to check in on all of the above. I can thaw out a rat and feed a snake, make sure your tarantula is still alive and well, and clean a bird cage - you name it I've probably done it!
