I work a day job from 3pm to 11:30pm, but animals are my passion. When I’m taking care of your pets, they are my entire focus and only priority. I’m available as early as 9am for one-off appointments, but willing to set earlier appointments for recurring clients. For afternoon appointments, my latest is currently 1:30pm.

I focus on one client at a time. You will never have to worry about your pets interacting with another person’s animals, especially if they’re on the shy side. I walk one dog at a time (unless you yourself own more than one dog), which I believe is safer both for me and for the dog. I take lots of photos and will keep you informed of our activities so you know exactly where your pets are and when.
Information Abigail O. would like to know about your pet
I am comfortable administering oral medications for cats and dogs, provided I can watch you do it once and take notes. I can handle reactive or anxious pets, but it helps a lot if you can explain ahead of time what sets them off, especially for taking dogs on walks, For cats, please let me know how they prefer to receive affection so I can respect their preferences and avoid accidentally irritating them.
A typical day
It’s important to me to make sure your animals feel loved and have fun while you’re away. I try to knock out the “chores” at the beginning of the booking so I can spend as much time as possible playing with or cuddling your pets. When I come for a meet and greet prior to your booking, I take lots of notes on what your pets enjoy doing so I can make sure that their routines are disrupted as little as possible.

Pet care experience
I have loved animals my whole life, and have owned hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, freshwater fish, dogs, and cats at various times in my life. I have extensive experience with shy and nervous dogs and know that introverted dogs can be just as big of lovebugs as their extroverted counterparts. Whether you’re looking for midday check ins, morning or evening walks or feeding, or even just some play or cuddle time for your furry companion, I’m the one to call!

Reviews

I'm a bit of an anxious pet mom because one of my dogs is an energetic husky and the other is a highly reactive dog with a complicated medical history. Abby did an incredible job keeping me updated about how the dogs were doing while I was away, including sending loads of adorable photos. She went above and beyond giving my highly reactive little guy his inhaler twice a day; there are fewer than five people in the entire world that he actually likes and she is one of them. She did a wonderful job ensuring that my energetic husky got the activity and enrichment that she needed to be happy, that my little guy got his medication and cuddles, and that I felt secure the entire time I was gone knowing they were in excellent hands. I can't recommend Abby highly enough.

I couldn’t be happier w/ the detailed reports i get from Abigail after every walk. I work 12 hr shifts overnights, so the attention given to my Pancho takes any concern off my shoulders about his well being, stimulation and relief from accidents in the home.

This is the second time Abigail has taken great care of our kitties :)

Abigail is the BEST! She took amazing care of my cat, Oliver, while I was away. Her loving attention and thoughtful care went above and beyond. I especially appreciated her detailed (and hilarious) updates as they gave me much needed peace of mind while I was gone. It means the world to know that Oliver is not only safe, but also loved and understood, especially since he’s such a shy boy. She was reliable, warm, and completely understanding of his needs. I’m so grateful to have found her, and I’ll definitely be rebooking with her for my next trip.
