James and I are an energetic couple who travel too much to have our own pets, so we’re here to share yours! We both have extensive experience pet sitting across multiple cities and three continents. Abbey’s from Ohio and James is from Melbourne, Australia. We spent the last year (06/2025-09/2026) living in Europe and are excited to resume petsitting now that we are back stateside. Together, we work from home and therefore have plenty of time to care for low and high-need pets alike.

We are an attentive, clean, non-smoking couple. For home stays, we require at least a full-sized bed (no trundle beds, blow up mattresses, or bunk beds). We do not allow dogs in the bed, but will make your pet very comfortable in their pet bed and are happy to have them in the bedroom.
Ratings and reviews
Abbey and James house sat for us and watched our dog and cat while we were on a week long vacation. We reached out last minute after our previous plans fell through and Abbey and James were able to accommodate us. They provided a ton of updates and pictures of our pets, which was great and made us feel so much better, especially with our first time using Rover. They walked our dog several times a day, which she loved, and sent plenty of photos of her adventures. They also left our home very clean and organized and washed our guest room sheets before they left. We are so happy we chose Abbey and James to house sit for us while we were gone! They made us feel so comfortable and we were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our pets were in great hands! We will definitely reach out to Abbey and James for pet sitting in the future!
This is the second time Abbey has watched our dog Rubi, and Rubi loved her just as much the second time! We have great peace of mind travelling knowing that Abbey is taking wonderful care of our pet as well as our home (and many plants) while we are away.
We were nervous to leave our rescue for the first time, but Abbey and James immediately put us at ease! Rubi usually takes time to warm up to new people, but she took to them immediately, and kept looking for them after they left. They kept us updated with pictures and texts all week and kept consistency with her ongoing training. They took great care of our house and plants as well. Would 100% recommend!
Abbey & James sat for me at my home while on a week long trip out of the country. They took amazing care of my dog Zoey and home. They provided lots of updates and took Zoey on many adventures. She liked them so much she was looking for them in the guest room the day after I returned. I will happily have them sit again in the future.
Abbey and James could not have been more amazing with Winston. They treated him like their own dog! I could tell they gave him so much love and stimulation. They easily followed my instructions, took him on adventures, and made him feel at ease in moments when he gets anxious. They sent multiple pictures and updates a day, and I didn’t worry the entire time I was away. I would ask them to watch Winston any time. Thanks for everything Abbey and James!
Abbey and James cared for our little female dog Bug at our house while we were away for 4 days. They are great! They were very sweet and loving to Bug, sent us many updates. We could tell Bug was happy and comfortable with them. They were very responsible, trustworthy and left our house super clean. We will use them again for sure!

Schedule
We would be happy to work through specific care plans for your furry family member, and promise to give lots of love and stimulation for the duration of our time together!

- Please make sure that your pet’s profile is completed on Rover prior to reaching out. Let us know your pet's needs and preferences, their dietary restrictions, any temperament concerns, and your style of training and interacting with your pet, so that we can make the transition from your loving care to ours as smooth as possible. ***PLEASE NOTE THESE ADDITIONAL POLICIES FOR OUR SERVICES*** 1.) We do not sit at homes with interior security/ring/video cameras (it’s okay if they’re there, but they’d have to be disabled for the duration of our stay) 2.) For house sitting, we require a bedroom with at least a full-sized bed (because there are two of us!) and we don’t allow pups in the bed, but can make them comfy and cozy in their dog beds in the bedroom 3.) We charge $25 additional to do an in-person meet and greet— we can do a video call meet and greet through Rover for free 4.) We require an in-person hand off the first day of care because we find that pups are usually more comfortable that way.
