I am a 4th grade teacher which means I am available all summer during any hours! I have a part time job at a gym but it is only a four hour shift a few days a week. Weekends get busy in the summer but during the week I have a very open schedule. I love to stay active and I enjoy taking walks or going for a jog. I have a fenced in yard and a park one block from my house. Silver Lake is also within walking distance.

I feed and water my dog, give her weekly baths, and take her on daily walks (if the weather lets us). She also goes on jogs with me but for being a smaller dog we do not go as far as if I were taking care of a larger, more active dog. Because my dog has one eye, she receives eye drops daily to keep it healthy and maintained. She is also receiving ear drops because she is prone to ear infections. Dogs deserve the best and I am willing to take care of them with anything they may need.

I grew up with a shepherd/golden retriever mix, a yellow lab, a black lab, and a cocker spaniel. All with VERY different personalities and energy levels. I have dog/house sat for my neighbors and my friends for years. I currently have a one-eyed (very spoiled) cocker spaniel and am hoping to get a rescue in the recent future. My love for dogs and animals is greater than anything else and I truly believe they deserve the absolute best care.

Abbey was so great with Willow during her home visits and walks! She always uploaded photos from the walks and communicated well with me before and after. Abbey is reliable and trustworthy! She will take great care of your pets and you will be able to go to work/vacation knowing that your pets are in good hands.
Abbey is such a caring and responsible animal lover. She looks after my dog every day and I see the love and affection and play she gives to my 3 year old golden retriever every day, with the walks, the fetches and of course, the treats. I trust her with my whole heart that my dog is always in the best care and that’s a great feeling to have. I highly recommend Abbey to watch and care for any pets!!
