“My pup Maisie very much enjoyed her stay with Lori and was very well taken care of. Lori is passionate about the health and well being of pets in her care. I know my girl will be in good hands with Lori and will absolutely board with again!”

“Elsy was amazing! My dogs clearly loved her, and they were so happy after a weekend of fetch in her amazing backyard. I would definitely book Elsy again, especially because she sent me so many adorable photos of the doggies.”

“Katy is a great sitter and I will use her again. She took care of my senior dog, communicated well, and took him for walks. She sent pictures daily too. I highly recommend her.”

“10/10 Would recommend!! I got daily updates with pictures and my dog looked super happy in every single one! I was pretty nervous about leaving my dog with someone I don’t know, but she made me feel so comfortable and she was so kind. I will definitely be bringing my dog back to her!”

“Bethany is absolutely amazing! She was able to watch our pup on short notice and had no hesitation to watch her for an extra day when our flights got cancelled. She sent us photo updates daily. Our dog has some separation anxiety and I could tell in every photo that she was genuinely calm under Bethany’s care. We will be using her again!”

About: I have loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember. I was born into the world of dogs and have been very blessed to grow alongside and help care for 8 dogs so far in my life. I have also known and cared for other familys' and friends' dogs since I was little. I am very attentive with their behavior and will do anything they need to feel more comfortable. I will always accept (and prefer) an initial meet and greet before taking in your fur baby/babies. That way we get to know each other a bit before the actual pet-sitting dates. I have a very big backyard with a tall fence so I can take care of any size breeds, including very large dogs. Lots of room for ball throwing and zoomies! I am a stay at home wife so I am never gone more than 3 hours a day, so fur babies are never alone for very long. I live very close to a couple of parks to take dogs on as many long walks as they need. I am comfortable around any breed as long as they are friendly and good with other dogs. I am comfortable with older dogs or dogs that may have some health issues and medication. I am willing to pet-sit up to 10 days at a time. All fur-babies are welcome to sleep in the house, if preferred. My 2 corgis are very social and will welcome other friendly, well-socialized dogs. I have training with puppies, especially crate training. I am a stay at home wife so I'm available any time, any day of the week as long as pet-sitting dates don't clash with my traveling/vacation dates. I have a closed in fence, very safe yard, 2 corgis for extra company and I make sure to play with them and walk them several times a day. I am very attentive to how fur-babies feel throughout the day and will play with them and visit them whenever needed. I am willing to take in dogs with injuries and that need special care and medication.
“Erika was so wonderful! She was communicative and always sent great pics that showed all the fun mumf was having while we were away! I also loved that mumf and peanut were besties. Erika is now our go to gal! Thanks for everything.”

“Chandra gave our Murphy lots of love and good care while we were on vacation. I loved that she send pictures of him and let me know how he was doing. Chandra is definitely dog person, and Murphy was comfortable at her home. I would book with Chandra again!!”

“We were so happy with Taylor. Penny seemed healthy and happy when we picked her up and I could tell that she was taken care of. Her adorable son even cried when we took Penny home which was proof enough to me that she was loved. We will definitely be using Taylor again!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
