“Suzanne and her family were perfect for Brody! We were not even sure if he wanted to come back home with us! I can highly recommend Suzanne! You doggie will feel home from day one. Thank you, Suzanne!”

“Carolina and her family opened their home to Godfrey for 5 nights. This was Godfrey's first time being away from me and he was in the best of hands. Carolina stuck to his routine and gave me plenty of updates. Godfrey is a very special dog and his personality was able to shine through with Carolina! I am so happy with the experience and would recommend her to anyone!!”

“Super accommodating with the short notice booking I requested! Steph is bright and friendly. She let me know if there were any issues with my pup. Would book with her again!”

“I don't know how Albert does it. But Maggie and Lucy come home better behaved and exhausted after their stays with Albert. Maggie can be difficult with other dogs but he gets her to play with everyone and never has an issue. I look forward to the girls staying there again (and every time we go away). Thanks again Albert and Amanda”

“Our puppy had a great time staying at Brittany’s house for the day. I felt he was in good hands while we were gone for the day. We will definitely use her services again. Thank you Brittany!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I work completely from home which will allow me plenty of time to attend to your pups needs all throughout the day. I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any special care instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure.”
“Thank you sooooo much for taking care of my Willow! You and your family did a wonderful job with her over night visit. I am so blessed to have found you. This is a super family and I would love have them care for my sweet dog anytime. Our communication was fabulous and the photos you shared are so appreciated THANK YOU❤️”

“Jessica is great to work with. My two dogs seemed to have fun and were exhausted which is great! She is a caring provider who truly looks out for the needs of your dogs. I have a 14 yr. old and 5 yr. old labradoodle. We would not hesitate to use her again. She repeatedly sent us pictures of how they were doing, which is comforting as it was their first visit with her. We did a meet and greet beforehand which was also very reassuring!”

“If I could leave 10 stars I would! This was the longest time apart from my pup and was very nervous, Erica and family made me feel at ease with her communication and pictures of my pup. I feel at ease to have a sitter that is close and cares for a GSD who is anxious at baseline. Thanks you!”

“My lab stayed with Dana for a week for the second time and we had another great experience! Scout came back to me happy, healthy, and tired!! Dana is very flexible, communicative, and understanding. She provides periodic updates and I trust my boy is taken care of while I’m away!”

“Dani is great with dogs. Our dog Hart spent the week there while we were on vacation. We got pictures and updates every day and he enjoyed his time there. Dani is conveniently located for us and very kind. Your dog will be in great hands!”

“I really appreciated the regular updates, pics, and videos Shelby provided throughout my dog’s stay. He’s a nervous guy in new situations and she did a great job working with him to get comfortable and letting me know how he was doing along the way.”

“Kristin was great to work with! Her communication was excellent, she gave us daily updates and she was very understanding of my super shy dog. We would definitely book with Kristin again!”

“I received so many updates and pictures of my dog. I knew she was getting the best care while we were out of town. Will definitely use again!!! We had a very happy puppy!! Thank you!”
“Torie was great with our two morkies, one of which has PLE and has some intense dietary restrictions. She was very communicative and quick to respond during the stay! Thank you Torie!”

About: Hello! I’ve taken care of my own pets since I was young, for about 8 years now as well as dog sat my older sisters two dogs and my oldest sisters three cats. I’ve also house sat for my cousins and grandparents various animals over the years and I love it. Meeting new pets warms my heart and brings me comfort as i’m not from the area it would be nice to get to meet some people from the area and make some new furry friends. I currently work nights so i’m free to pop over in the morning or afternoon and check in on the pets when needed or give them a walk! I love going on walks with my pets so if you want your pet to get a good walk in i’m your gal! I also really enjoy trying to teach pets new tricks with treats and positive reinforcement, and bathing animals so I offer bathing/groom services if needed.
“This was my first time with Laura & my first time boarding my dog at all & she was the perfect fit! All the updates, safety & enrichment I could’ve asked for, my dog even seemed disappointed to leave!”

Another great stay for my 2 pups with Suzanne. Both always come back to me healthy and happy and well looked after. Even my shy guy has no problem going right into the yard, and that is the biggest vote of confidence there is. Plus plenty of updates so I get to see them when I am gone.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
