Über: I've looked after pets of every size and type since I was 8, mainly dogs and cats but also tarantulas/rats/hamsters among others. I helped my parents training their puppies, who are now wellbehaved but still love a good roll in the mud or a bit of wrestling. I'm doing a Masters in Psycholofy at the RUG, so while I have a lot of work, it's very flexible, meaning I am able to look after pets at all times of he week. I think it's important that your pet gets comfortable with me, if that means I need to bring a little treat to bribe my way in, I'm happy to do so!

Über: Seit ich 4 Jahre alt bin, habe ich täglichen Kontakt zu Hunde und Katzen. Bereits mit vier Jahren hab ich es geliebt, mich mit Hunden in jeglicher Größe zu beschäftigen. Meine eigene Katze hab ich damit acht Jahren bekommen und ein Fun fact zu ihr: Sie kann Sitz und Platz. Vor vier Jahren kam dann meine Australian Shepherd Hündin Ella in die Familie. Wir sind ein eingespieltes Team, und sie hört aufs Wort genau. Ich habe ihr um die 30 Tricks beigebracht und zusammen haben wir auch Agility gemacht. Ich liebe es, mich mit Hunden zu beschäftigen und ihnen auch nützliche Sachen beizubringen, die im Alltag auch den Besitzern helfen können. Meinem Hund habe ich zum Beispiel beigebracht Schubladen zu öffnen, ihr eigenes Geschirr zu holen oder ihre Leine aufzuheben. Ich begeistere mich auch dafür, bereits Junghunde, guten Gehorsam beizubringen. Momentan mache ich ein Au-Pair Jahr. Mein Gast Kind ist ab Mitte April in der Schule und so habe ich von Montag bis Freitag von 8:00 Uhr bis 14:00 Uhr auf jeden Fall Zeit. Da ich aber nicht jeden Tag nach der Schule auf sie aufpassen muss, habe ich bestimmt zweimal die Woche auch bis abends Zeit. An den Wochenenden bin ich auch immer verfügbar. Direkt vor unserem Haus bindet sich ein großer Park und Wald, in dem man super mit den Hunden spazieren gehen kann. Ansonsten wohnen wir in einem Penthouse über zwei Etagen verteilt. Also auch im Haus ist viel Platz. Ich kann mit dem Hund mehrmals Gassi gehen, ihn mental mit zum Beispiel Intelligenz spielen, auslasten oder auch sonst jegliche Aktivitäten die gewünscht sind, machen. Wenn auch sonst irgendwo Trainingsbedarf beherrscht kann ich mich auch gerne damit auseinandersetzen.

Über: My wife and I Moved to the Netherlands in 2021 to be with our grandkids (we both pensioners ). Had pets since birth, Small & Big dogs / cats . Dogs are like Humans they need Love & Passion. They understand a Human moods and they always come and give comfort & Love. The only thing dogs cant do SPEAK but when they look into your eyes you can see what they want. Currently we don't have PETS as we like to travel and feel sorry to leave the pets behind. We at home 99% of the day. Should you require us to cook their favourite meals we do not have a problem. We prepared to visit your house and see how the dog will react to us first. We live in Helpman and would like to stay in this area as your pets will be familiar to the Area We home the whole day - Your pets will be like our KIDS - Grandkids - We just love walking pets and see the pleasure they get The pets do not have access to the outside world. Depending on their routine we will comply. Love taking for walks either Long or Short

Über: Ever since I can remember, I’ve been surrounded by animals of all kinds. I grew up with a grumpy cat that thaught me from an early age the importance of treating animals like real living beings and not toys. She showed me early on how much they lie their personal space. My puppy i got when I was 10 showed me unconditional love that dogs guve their owners. Having had and trained horses I learned the respect towards beautiful animals and treatment with care. Animals have been my whole world and moving away from home (Croatia) I realized how much i miss just being around them. This is a perfect opportunity to combine my love for animals and experience in caring for them as well as helping other families or individuals. I am a master student that works a side-student job. This means my days have more than enough time to attend to an animal when needed. I spend most of my time at home or at the park if the weather allows it and therefore pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine seamlessly. I live in an apartment so home care is explanatory. I usually carry dogs (my own dog at home) downstairs since she is a small dog and it can hurt her back. This is more important in the Netherlands as the stairs are very steep. Moreover, I always always always use a leash unless at a dog park or a designated area where it is allowed to have an off-leash pet. I usually walk dogs about 4 times a day (this depends on the length of the walk- if we spend a whole afternoon in a park on a sunny day it may vary). When it comes to feeding, I would discuss with the owner about their wishes and habits of the pet.

In terms of my experiences with animals: I have taken care of various dogs and cats for longer and shorter periods on a few petsitting platforms. I have taken care of both young dogs and old dogs. Über: My family has had dogs ever since I can remember. At this moment, we have 3 dogs back home which I was very involved with their care while growing up, and still am when I visit for the holidays/ summer. I believe my experience with animals is very vast, since my family has a farm, and I was exposed to many different animals and behaviours. Due to my hometown having a huge stray problem, I also know how to handle more aggressive dogs, read body language and respect personal boundaries, which many times is overlooked. If you are looking for a pet sitter/ dog walker I believe I am a great choice :) (I don’t have any pets in Groningen sadly) I am currently on my 2nd year of master studies, but due to my course selection I have a very flexible schedule, so with good communication we can always find a time that works for you too. Ich arbeite aber auch gerne mit Hunden, egal welche Verhaltensweisen der Hund aufzeigt. Ich konnte bereits einigen Hunden kleine sowie große Baustellen bearbeiten. Ich bin kein Profi und auch nicht ausgebildet, aber ich hab viel Spaß daran! Durch meine Arbeit bin ich relativ eingespannt aber ich habe einen Weg gefunden um Hunden trotzdem gerecht zu werden. Ich gehe morgens gerne spazieren, in meiner Pause kann ich 45min bis 1 Stunde mit dem Hund gassi gehen. In meiner Abwesenheit gebe ich dem Hund gerne Leckmatten oder spiele für die Nase. Ich habe eine Wohnung mit mehreren Räumen wo der Hund sich auch gerne für sich zurückziehen kann. Ich würde bei Besuchen in meiner Wohnung darum bitten das Körbchen des Hundes mit zu bekommen, so das er bei mir etwas sicheres hat.

Ook ben ik gewend om met een kat te leven, mijn ouders hadden altijd een erg lieve kat in huis. In mijn ouderlijk huis liet ik de hond(en) 2 keer per dag uit en maakte ik geregeld lange wandelingen of fietstochten.
