I had to take a dog "client" to the vet. He is fine thankfully, and I paid the bill of $145 and I am wondering how I go about getting the money from the dog parent?
That was me, that Deb is referring to I had that happen to me on my first client, and Rover eventually reimbursed my entire bill. I called Rover Support when it happened. After the vet visit, they asked me to send a written statement detailing what had happened and send them a copy of the vet bill. About 2 weeks later I got a check reimbursing me for the entire amount.
You should not ask the client for the reimbursement, work through Rover Support to get reimbursement. That is exactly what their insurance is for.
