I purchased the Rover pet insurance for a variety of reasons. Thankfully, I have not had to use it. I am wondering if anyone has had to use the policy, and if so, what was the process like?
I take the pups care very seriously so I purchased the additional insurance to secure their safety. It also gives myself as well as the pet parents extra confidence in the over all experience. I had to use it once as a pup ate something I was uncertain about. It was nice to know I have back up in those potentially interesting times.

Rover offers the additional pet protection coverage package. Worth the piece of mind.
that Protection Package is not additional insurance at all! It provides 'vet questions' and 'lost dog' tags. But as far as additional insurance - nope.
I have the regular rover insurance, not the additional protection package, and I had to use it with my first client. The dog ate something he shouldn't have while I was out, and I freaked. Rover Customer Support walked me through everything and was very helpful. I found an animal clinic (of course it would happen on a Sunday) that treated him and I paid the bill. Rover then had me submit a written explanation via email of what happened, along with the vet bill. After about 2 weeks, I was reimbursed the entire amount.
