Have you ever been asked to do multiple meet and greets?

I was asked by an owner to do a meet and greet every week this month till mid August for free!

I said no because... 1. multiple visits aren't meet and greets, it's a service and it's called a drop-in visit 2. on my profile it says I only do housesitting (currently I can't do a lot of driving around do to health) 3. my calendar was already full for this month.

Now my profile will be penalized because I had to cancel her request. Hardly seems fair. How would you have handled this situation?

I’m confused? I’ve never had my profile penalized for not booking a client? Or canceling a request?

Yes! I recently did 7-night stay with owners who asked me to come by three times beforehand, each for over an hour. I should have listened to my gut when it told me this wasn't a good use of my time, and to set boundaries, but I felt bad because they're sweet seniors. I might contact Rover support to ask about this situation. Unfortunately in my experience, even if your policies, availability, etc. is clearly written, many owners don't read.

Could you have archived it instead without saying you were not available? I don't think that penalizes you if you specify the owners plans changed.

Right! If you give a reason for archiving that's about the owner, not you, it shouldn't penalize you. Also I've found a lot of people are just new to Rover and you have to explain the different options

Yes! I tell them it’s $10 every 20 minute visit I do after the first free meet and greet. They usually just pay me that in cash or I modify the booking and add it

I have not, but I wouldn't agree to anymore than one M&G, after that it is not a M&G... Time is money, especially for low hourly wage gigs of Rover.
