What is meant by "Will you be staying at your client's home full-time on weekdays?"?

When editing my settings for housesitting, I saw the above question, and I do not quite understand what 'full-time' means. In the workforce, 'full-time' means 40 hours per week, but that wouldn't make sense here, as many stays do not even last a week, and if they do, we generally stay far more than 40 hours. I want to interpret it as "Will you never leave the home during the week except for very brief, essential errands," but even that is a little subjective.

How many hours per day would I have to stay at a client's home to be considered 'full-time?' For how many consecutive hours could I be off doing other things during the day before I am in violation of that?

Many housesitting sitters stay at the client's home from 7P to 7A, but many also use the client's home as a base of operations during their stay; meaning they spend the majority of their time there. Lots of us also walk dogs during the day and will leave to provide those services. As a sitter you get to set your own rules of operation, Rover cannot and does not dictate how you run your business, the services you offer, or the hours you are on the clock with any booking.

To prevent any misunderstanding with new clients I suggest you discuss the hours you can spend in their home at the meet and greet. Best of luck
