Where do I submit a website dev suggestion?

For privacy and security concerns, it would seem to make more sense to submit my personal address AFTER a sitter accepts an appointment. If I reach out to several sitters, I've effectively told "x" amount of people whom I've never met where I live - and that I will be out of town for a few days.

Maybe it would be better to do JUST street name and city, or major cross streets within a 1/2 mile when soliciting the service - and then (again) once accepted, provide the exact address.

Just a thought.

Sitters do not get personal information about clients until a job is booked and confirmed by Rover. If a dog is boarding with me, I only receive a phone number for the client, not their home address from Rover. Since I am not a "traveling" sitter, who might come to your home to walk your dog, house sit or perform drop-ins for your pet, I would assume that you invited potential sitters over to your home for a Meet & Greet, discussed the engagement requirements, showed them the lay of the land, and once you selected a person, gave them the ability to access your home. If you are meeting with several sitters, then there's no way to avoid a bunch of people knowing where you live and that you'll be out of town. However, Rover does have a "guarantee" in case some goes wrong. You may want to look into that.

If you would like to convey your concerns to Rover, I suggest you call them at [Edit: Rover’s contact options have changed. Visit the Rover Help Center at https://support.rover.com/ to find the phone number, help articles, or chat with the team].
