What is the difference between a check in visit and a walk?

I'm confused what the difference is in services between a "Check in visit" and a "walk" I mean Im not going to check in on a pup and not walk him?

Basically, for a walk, you take the dog out for a 30-minute walk. When you do a drop-in, yes, you would let the dog out for a quick one, perhaps feed it or play with it.
