Costing for Boarding and how to price it correctly?

Hi all, I am relatively new to Rover and I have had a few bookings for boarding which I had at 30 GBP but then I realised this is for a 24 period. I feel this is massively underpriced - what have others been doing? What exactly do you offer for 'Boarding' do you charge an overnight more than this? Any help would be greatly appreciated

SORRY I DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER 4 U BUT I ACTUALLY HAVE THE SAME QUESTION. I LIVE IN AZ ... I JUST GOT A REQUEST FOR 1 DOG BUT FOR BIARDING IN MY HOME FOR A MONTH STRAIGHT!!! IDK HOW RATES GO WITH THIS AT ALL. I KNOW WE SET OUR OWN PRICES BUT IM NOT SURE IF THE CLIENT WOULD POTENTIALLY OVERPAY OR IF IM NOT GETTING PAID ENOUGH... A WHOLE MONTH? GEEZ ... 899... NO TAX INCLUDED. I NEED LIKE STATEWIDE GOING RATE STATISTICS FOR AZ OR SOMETHING...

First, Margarita, you need to release your cap lock key. Then, looking at your profile, I would seriously evaluate whether that was a bona fide request and not a scam. You have so little information. Your profile needs tons of work. It is couched in such a negative way, only a scammer might respond.

You need testimonials from friends and relatives. You need to get rid of your experience with the application process. Talk about how good you are with animals, your experience, and what you would offer clients. Then look at rates in your area on Rover and at boarding places. Your initial rate...

should be start out a little lower than the competition in order to get clients. Eventually, you can raise it to the going rate in your locality once you get some clients and reviews. But it does take time.

The reason I mentioned the inquiry might be a scammer is because they typically ask for long engagements to get your attention. Look at the request carefully and only communicate through the Rover platform. Don't give out personal info and phone number.

BTW,Margarita, I didn't downvote you.
