I just added doggie day care to my options. I would like to promote it to get some regular customers. Any tips?
I am brand new to Rover, but I have created an Instagram account for my business. Using good hashtags that are related to your niche and location would help. Also, “liking” posts with similar hashtags as the ones you want to promote, and following similar accounts would help engage users who are interested in what you do. With other ventures of mine, a social media presence is absolutely necessary, and very helpful in gaining exposure. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
I do dog boarding and doggy day care and day care is definitely the least used. I think I've heard that from other sitters, as well. I don't do much promoting b/c it seems I always have boarders. If you want to promote, you can use Rover's promotion tools to post on Craigslist or other social media accounts. Another option is if you have past clients for other services, you could send them a message letting them know you're offering day care as a new service. The bonus about day care is that some clients will use you repeatedly. Good luck!
