Is it better to take only one client at a time?

Hi everyone! I normally only take one client at a time, but I wanted to know if I change my settings to accepts 2 or 3 clients will that affect how how many people reach out to me? Do clients prefer to have their dogs at one client only sitters?

Also I know there is already a holiday rate that Rover has but do any of you guys change the rate for holidays like thanksgiving or Christmas? Lower or higher?

Thank you!

Every client's needs are different, some are okay with a multiple dog setting, some are not. But more importantly are you as a sitter prepared to accept multiple dogs from multiple households, the dynamics and amount of effort increase significantly. As to your second question most sitters charge a premium for the holidays. I see you are a new sitter without any verified reviews so I would tread carefully. Best of luck

Thank you! Really helped a lot. I am just finishing up my first booking (2 whole weeks!) in a few days and have a few more planned for the coming months so hopefully will get verified reviews soon.

Awesome on your first booking. At first take it slow you will thank me for it down the road, pet care is a ton of work, a lot more than you think when you first start out.
