What does it mean when it says "AWAY" instead of a price?

On a sitter's page here, someone that I like and have used, in the location where normally it'd show her daily prices for diff services it says "AWAY". ("Dog-sitting in her home: AWAY Dog-walking: AWAY" etc.)

Her calendar is still up and shows availability. What's that about?

When a sitter sets her status as "away," it is because she is likely on vacation or just doesn't want to have to maintain an active profile on Rover. She may not be able to respond quickly to booking messages and is therefore not shown in search results.

However, this doesn't mean you can't contact her. There is a contact button on her profile or go to your inbox and use a message from a past stay. But remember, you may not get an immediate response which is why she went into AWAY mode.

Ah! Thank you. Good to know I can still contact her. I have to say it's a bit of a weird UI that setting a status as Away would replace pricing and not the calendar or something. But doing so, you're saying prevents her from being found in searches. Didn't know that. (I have her page bookmarked)

Yes, when someone does a search, she will not be listed in the results while AWAY, even though her calendar shows she is available. It is easier this way, then marking the calendar as not available for huge swatches of time which isn't even the situation.
