Is there a way to add another dog to an already booked stay?

I've had this stay booked for a couple weeks and the client messaged me today saying that she had to pick up a foster dog that was about to be euthanized. I have no problem sitting this dog as well, but we have no idea how to go about adjusting the stay cost. Any suggestions?

No you have to cancel the entire request and rebook with both dogs on the reservation.

When you press "cancel" it will give you an explanation box. Rover support told me if you describe the exact changes required, someone will make them for you within 48 hours. (For example, I needed dates changed. It was done without actually cancelling and booking again.).

If it were me, I would create another stay for the new dog and adjust my rate down to the difference between one and two dogs. (For example, if my rate for one dog is $30 and the second dog is $10 more - $40 total - I would create a new stay for the second dog and adjust my rate down to $10/night.)

This is what I was thinking of doing, but I haven't been using rover for very long so I didn't know if there was a better day. Thank you! I think this is probably the best way.

And make sure the owner puts the new dog's profile on Rover.com. That way they will be covered by the insurance as well.
