Why is the profile review taking so long??

Hi! I have registered as a sitter on Rover. I received an e-mail about the final step in the process which is the background check. I have uploaded the required documents at Checkr but haven't heard from them yet. You have mentioned that it takes about 1-5 business days but it has been about 12 days since I sent a reply. Could I please get some updates on my application and the next steps?

Take a look at your profile page to check your status. https://www.rover.com/account/profile/

You may see a banner letting you know your profile needs a few updates before we can move forward. Check your email for details on what should be updated.

However, if you see X marks next to any section, that means your profile is not yet complete. Complete each part of your profile until there are no more X's.

Then, the sitter team will review your profile and get in touch with you via email, typically in 5-7 business days.
