do you publish negative reviews?
I only see positive reviews, do you also publish negative ones?
Pls tell me how can I update a review of a sitter I used in the past or at least have an updated review. Thanks!

Yes, Rover publishes the good, the bad, and the ugly, so long as the comments are not offensive.

I think that with the background checks and the desire to be on the top of the search engine, most sitters are going out of the way to make a good impression.
Sitters with negative reviews probably won't receive many, if any, new requests--so they probably fade to the bottom fast. As well as Jamie's point, most sitters try to make sure the client is pleased with the experience.
I have had several sitters on rover cancel last minute, leaving me in the lurch. I tried to leave a negative review but was told I wasn't allowed because the care was never completed. So they are definitely filtering reviews. The sitter that cancelled is only showing positive reviews.
