How can you score care givers on repeat clients who come from far away?

My Repeat Score is only a 67 and I have all 5 star reviews. I have to argue this a little - I live in an area where I get lots of people visiting San Diego and OC and need a place to leave their pets either for daycare or the entire vacation due to the hotels not letting them have pets. It's hard to re-book a client who is only visiting for a week or weekend. I do have some Los Angeles and Phoenix regulars who come a few times a year, but this is not the norm and I feel it is unfair to grade us on something we have no control over. Thank you.

The performance scores are just a measure on how you are doing against other sitters in your area and mean very little in the overall scheme of attracting clients

I don't even think they matter, mine has been 96 for many many many month and it doesn't ever change... I am not even sure how it works, only 35 people left me a review, which is way less than 50% of my bookings, so it's probably not even important...

Q: What are the sitter performance scores?

A: Each of your services has two scores that are visible only to you—they’re called the booking score and the repeat score. Your scores give you a glimpse into how you're doing compared to other sitters and dog walkers on Rover, and influence where your profile lands in search results. The higher your scores, the more likely you are to appear higher in search results. When the stats next to your scores improve more than others sitters' stats, your scores will go up.

Q: Who can see my scores?

A: Your scores are private and will not appear on your public profile—only you can see them.
