I got a dog walking request but the person does not have a profile picture nor do they have one for their dog. they also do not have a lot of information about the dog. Should I accept it or not?

Ths is my first time ever getting a request and I do not want to get someone who is not a real person wanting their dog walked. Just trying to stay safe!

Send them a message and ask more questions; then decide. :-)

No, do not accept it. First ask questions and then set up a meet and greet. After that you decide if you want to accept or not. Good luck :)

Sometimes people just don't fill out all (or in some cases any of) the details in the beginning. Just ask them all the questions that you'd want to know, including profile based questions, and wait for their response.

The same exact thing happened to me and being new to Rover and new to the area I just moved into I'm very cautious about meeting people. This person had no pictures of the dog and no updated information and a profile picture that you couldn't really see their face, just the outline of their body. But we messaged a lot and he sent me pictures of the dog which made me feel better and we met in a park 2 minutes away from where I live and he turned out to be an extremely nice person. He was new to Rover as well and I think just didn't think to fill out the rest of the info. Definitely good to talk to people and set up the meet and greets but so far my experience meeting people has gone very well!
