Hi I just recently started up my Rover sitter profile and passed the background check as well as all 7 days of emails from Katie. Was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to get my firs booking and build from there? Do I just wait for someone to find me? Share your Rover code with all your social media contacts. Your dashboard on the Rover site will explain how.
Additionally, order some business cards and give them to everyone you meet; a great time to do this is when you are walking your own dog.
And, most important, be patient. All things in good time.
I would also make sure to frequent places where lots of dogs and their owners are like dog parks or city paths where people walk their dogs, talk to everyone, introduce yourself and hand out tons of business cards, it helps if you have one or two well behaved dogs with you while doing it.
When you have a business card does it make clear for the person to book thru ROVER and not you personally? How does that work on the card?
