How do you cancel a request?

I made a request with a sitter & hasn't responded yet. Changed my mind. How do I cancel it?

Hi there,

If the stay is not yet booked, you will be asked to confirm the booking one final time before it's complete. I would reach out to the sitter and tell them you changed your mind. You should also be able to cancel the request from your dashboard.

no that doesn't work

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any way to cancel a "Pending" service.

Agree - don't see a way to cancel a "pending" service from the dashboard, or from anywhere else.

I'm having the same problem. There's a pending request that I can't cancel.

8 years later, Rover hasn't included a way to cancel a pending request, lol.

As of today, Rover still does not seem to have a way to cancel a request. It seems like it would be a useful option.

Yes this is extremely annoying. I have a request I made and the sitter is not going to work out and I just want to delete it. Why is this simple thing just not available on this service?
