Had a really bad experience with dogs I boarded, why can't I write a review to warn other sitters?

We had two dogs come stay with us a little while back. They were turned away from their last sitter because one of them had bit another dog so hard it needed stitches. Fast forward to our stay, I specifically asked if I needed to remove bedding, carpeting, etc. in fear they may rip something. Owners assured me that they would have no issue and that the only thing they had ever ripped up was shoes. Well, I wake up one morning and my $150+ comforter was destroyed. We informed the owners on pick up and they didn't offer any money or EVEN APOLOGIZE! Ironically, I just received another request from them (which I will certainly be denying). But is there a way for me to warn other sitters? Just doesn't seem fair!

There is no way to warn other sitters, but this incident is something you should contact Rover support about.

Additionally, when you leave your rating of a guest, the stars and comments go to Rover (pet owners do not see them). They'll have that record to refer to when you call.

Very glad I found this post and your reply, Carmen C.! I was wondering on who exactly to contact, as I had a slightly negative experience with a client, myself.
