I get a lot of rude requests that end up being just messages back and forth until the day before the stay is supposed to happen and then the rude owner just cancels and brings down my score?
Not all of the owners are rude, I get some pretty awesome dogs and dog parents, I just want to be able to maybe warn others?
There's no way to flag owners. You can flag an incoming message as offensive (tiny little flag by message box). I've utilized that for spam. Many have asked, but no, there's no way streamlined way to share that type of information on Rover, though some have joined facebook groups. Rover's standpoint regarding owners who contact and don't book is that it affects all of us equally (whether or not that's true can be debated).
You just have to grit your teeth and "kill 'em with kindness." Sometimes we have to do business with people that we don't like. That is why we charge $! But be kind to yourself - you only have to do jobs you want. Maybe figure out brief reply like, I am sorry I can't help this time, happy trails!
