About: I grew up having dogs and cats. I have been dog sitting, walking, boarding and cat sitting for my friends pets. I'm a dedicated and calm animal lover. Pet care is a already part of my daily routine. I care for my cat every day, making sure she’s fed and gets the attention she needs. I’m used to scheduling my time around pets’ routines, whether that means visits, playtime, or medication when needed. I own my home, so visiting pets will be in a calm and safe environment. I make sure they have plenty of attention and never leave them unattended during visits. If a visiting kitty needs their own space, I can provide a quiet, separate room.

I’ve had the pleasure of caring for a variety of dogs, including a gentle Standard Poodle and a high-energy Australian Shepherd. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while making sure your dog feels happy, loved, and at home while you’re away. Looking forward to meeting your pup! . I work from home most days, so dogs I am looking after get steady attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day, along with regular breaks I live in a quiet home near a great walking trail. Dogs in my care get a calm environment, plenty of attention, and a routine that helps them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I’m a college student currently on summer break with a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and pet care throughout the week. Since I’m home full-time, I can often accommodate last-minute bookings as well. I can also speak and understand French quite well, though I’m not perfectly bilingual. I’ve always been a huge animal lover and have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I currently help care for my one-year-old dog, whom I raised from a puppy, and my nine-year-old cat at my mom’s house. Caring for pets throughout my life has taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of understanding each pet’s unique personality. I truly love both cats and dogs and will treat your pets with the same care, attention, and affection I give my own. For boarding, I live in a large home with plenty of space and access to over an acre of outdoor property and nearby forested areas for walks and exploration. I also have a hamster in a secure enclosure, which can be kept in a separate room if needed. While I can’t host cats in my home due to family allergies, I’m happy to care for cats through drop-in visits or house sitting. When caring for pets in your home, I want them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Whether that’s daily walks, trips to the dog park, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their usual routine, I’ll make sure they receive the care they’re used to. I’ll also send plenty of updates, photos, and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, safe, and cared for while you’re gone. Pet care fits well into my routine because I have a flexible schedule and can easily plan around visits, walks, and feeding times. I’m consistent and reliable, and I always make sure pets stick to their normal routine. I prioritize safety, trust, and making pets feel comfortable whether they are in my home or a client’s home. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and supervised environment that helps pets feel secure and relaxed. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all instructions, respect their space, and stick to the pet’s normal routine. I always ensure doors are secure, provide fresh food and water, clean litter boxes regularly, and pay close attention to each pet’s comfort and behaviour.

About: My husband (Scott) and I have had dogs (and other animals) our entire lives. Over the years, we have consistently opened our home to rescues, strays, fosters, friend/ family pets, and have even socialized 4 litters of feral kittens for the Humane Society. Scott also has close to 15 years’ worth of experience with the Humane Society as a cruelty investigator. In 2024, we had to say farewell to both our aged cat and dog . We so miss our four-legged companions and are now ready to share our home again by spoiling your furry friends with exercise, cuddles and play time. So, doing so through Rover seemed like a natural fit. We both work from home, giving us the flexibility to pamper, exercise and stimulate your pooch! If our energy wanes at all, rest assured our 9-year-old son is always ready to step in with his endless enthusiasm 😊 Our extensive experience with senior animals, has also provided us with skills in administering medication, attending to spinal injuries, elderly pets, specialized food preparation etc. Having owned a rescue dalmatian, two rescue miniature dachshunds, and a 3-legged hound, we are also very familiar how to accommodate special needs, diets, injuries etc. Most importantly, we have learned that each furry friend has their own unique personality! 😊 A quick note about compatibility: To ensure a safe, calm, and positive environment for everyone—especially our returning clients—dogs staying with us must be non-aggressive toward other dogs. If your dog requires one-on-one care or has challenges with dog interactions, this may still be possible by arrangement, but an additional fee may apply to fairly account for the extra supervision and management required. We’re always happy to discuss your dog’s needs openly to determine the best fit. We can’t wait to meet your fur baby and spoil it like it is our own (and we will send you pictures to prove it)! Our house is steps away from the Chelsea rails to trails so we have miles of fun trails to explore together! Our home has multiple water stations, dog beds, and dog toy stations. Play time, brushing and cuddles are the highlight of the day in our home, so we make time for these regularly throughout the day!! We love to play with our furry friends! We work from home daily and make a point of walking at least once a day, no matter the weather (with or without a four-legged friend). We also have the privilege of living on a quiet and 2 acre lot on a quiet side street, giving us many options for playing with your pooch, rain or shine. About: J’adore les animaux et je suis quelqu’un d’active. J’ai un berger Australien de 2 ans qui m'accompagne quotidiennement pour nos marches et courses à pied. Nous adorerions garder d’autres amis qui pourraient nous accompagner et jouer avec Théo. Nous avons une cours clôturée pour que les chiens puissent jouer en liberté et en sécurité. Nous avons aussi un enfant de 1 an qui est toujours supervisé en présence d’animaux. Je travaille de la maison à temps plein donc disponible pour m’occuper des animaux à la maison. About: I have taken care of my precious Maggie for the past 15 years, before she crossed the rainbow bridge <3 Dog sitting is such a great way to meet other dog souls and I am so ready to give some love and take care of a pet. I absolutely love dogs and their sweet presence. I enjoy going on walks in the forest nearby (various Gatineau Park trails), play with them, take care of them and relax with them (on our sunny deck outside, in a hamac, on our couch). I am comfortable with teaching baisc skills to dogs or maintaning their skills. I use positive reinforcement and yummy treatos. I can also take care of dogs with a lot of fur as my Maggie was a Sheltie. We can also bring the dog to our favorite gentle groomer for nail trims. My partner will also help when he is home, and he loves dogs just as much as I do! He is really good at teaching various commands to dogs, he is extremely patient and he also loves to play with dogs. Together, we make a good team! And we can play in the yard, trails or dog park with your puppy :) . I am currently a full time student, and occasional yoga teacher. Simon works from Monday to Thursday on a flexible schedule. We are home some afternoons/mornings depending on our schedule, and every evening. We can take the dog outside for walks mornings and evening, and sometimes at noon. Or we can let the dog chill outside in our backyard to enjoy the smells and the sun, provided the pup is comfortable on a long leash. The yard is 90% private and fenced, there is just a unfenced gap on the side that looks into our parking lot or is covered by cedars. We are home on weekends and can provide lots of activities and care for your puppy from Friday to Sunday. We try to coordinate our schedule to spend as much time as possible providing care for the pet we sit :) We can provide potty breaks from 4-8 hours. I have a big private yard that is partially fenced, but we have a long leash so the dog can roam around. If you have a long leash too, please bring it! There is a big garden in our yard not accessible to the dogs. There are lots of squirrel and birds around our backyard. We live near the Gatineau Park, so lots of possibilities for walks and runs on a leash in the woods. We also have a spacious home where the dogs can play around, we have some dog pillows, and a small & big crate if necessary. We have a closed shower if the dogs need a little cleanup. If necessary, we also have a barrier/baby gate. There are no cats nor kids in the house, no one smokes and our neighborhood is quiet and calm. We do have plants in the house. We can also bring the dogs to dog parks nearby by foot or by car. We can drive around to other trails where the dogs could walk off-leash, play in water or play fetch. Our neighbourhood is calm, we live at the end of a cul-de-sac. Almost no cars drive by, but we occasionally see walkers and dogs on our street.
