About: My husband (Scott) and I have had dogs (and other animals) our entire lives. Over the years, we have consistently opened our home to rescues, strays, fosters, friend/ family pets, and have even socialized 4 litters of feral kittens for the Humane Society. Scott also has close to 15 years’ worth of experience with the Humane Society as a cruelty investigator. In 2024, we had to say farewell to both our aged cat and dog . We so miss our four-legged companions and are now ready to share our home again by spoiling your furry friends with exercise, cuddles and play time. So, doing so through Rover seemed like a natural fit. We both work from home, giving us the flexibility to pamper, exercise and stimulate your pooch! About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. “Our 10 year old dog Zara had a wonderful time staying with Melody and her family. It is obviously they love dogs and Zara took a shine to them. Communication was excellent with daily updates. Melody asked a lot of questions prior to caring for Zara and wanted to truly understand her needs and her daily routines. This was our first opportunity to use their services, but it won’t be our last.”

Chez moi, votre chien n’est jamais laissé seul dans un coin — il est intégré à mon quotidien, chouchouté et surveillé en permanence. Mon appartement calme est idéal pour les chiens qui ont besoin de sérénité. J’accueille tous les gabarits et tous les tempéraments avec la même bienveillance. Chaque chien est unique, et je prends le temps d’apprendre à le connaître pour lui offrir une garde sur mesure. Les propriétaires peuvent partir l’esprit tranquille — je tiens à donner des nouvelles régulières avec photos et messages. Mon copain et moi sommes tous les deux en télétravail, donc on a une belle flexibilité dans nos journées ! Ça nous permet de vraiment prendre soin du chien qu’on garde — des marches quotidiennes, des moments de jeu et plein d’attention tout au long de la journée. Garder un chien fait partie de notre routine et on adore ça, c’est jamais une contrainte pour nous. Chez nous, c’est un appartement calme et douillet où votre chien est supervisé en tout temps. Comme on est deux à la maison, il y a toujours un œil sur lui ! On s’adapte à ses habitudes — que ce soit pour les sorties, les repas ou les moments de repos. Notre objectif, c’est qu’il se sente comme chez lui dès la première heure.
“My dog Billy stayed with Lucas and Thyara for 5 days in their beautiful home. Lucas and Thyara are very friendly. They were very welcoming to Billy. They are very caring couple, they wanted to know all about him. They sent me pictures every day, I liked that. I can tell he enjoyed his stay. I would give them my highest recommendation. This meant a great deal to us especially when Molly needed medical attention.
