“This was our first time using a sitter for our cats and couldn’t have been happier! Karine did a great job and our girls looked forward to the photos each day. Would rebook again for sure!”

About: i’ve taken care of dogs and i’m comfortable with any animal. I’ve done it for a couple years for family and friends. To feed and walk them and take them outside and play with them. Also have done overnight babysitting for dogs. I do not work in the summer and I am mostly available all days during the week and weekends. It will not be problem to find time during the summer at my client’s house. I would make sure if I were to take them on walks I would look at my environment outside and for safety, I would ask the owner where there animal is comfortable going to go on walks
“Nancy took great care of my cat Ziny while I was away. She admitted she wasn’t a cat person but the photos of her and Ziny told a different story. I appreciated the detailed daily report and pictures. I could tell from the photos he was getting lots of cuddles and loving. 😻”

“I will highly recommended Rileigh, she is very caring and knows what she is doing. My boy is always happy to see her. She always keeps me posted on what they are doing and sent me pictures as well. Thank you for watching after my boy.”

About: I’ve pet sat for various families and taken care of dogs, cats, fish and even goats! I’m happy to work with your preferences and provide the best possible experience. I’m currently a full time student so I’ve got some flexibility in my schedule and am eager to make arrangements to best suit everyone’s schedule! I’m eager to please and follow any preferences that you may have. I’m a hard worker looking to go above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable.
About: I am a trusted Vet Assistant working at an Emergency Veterinary Hospital. I love all dogs and cats. I also have been pet sitting for family and friends for over 4 years. I have 4 years of clinic experience (2 years as a volunteer and 2 years as a Veterinary Assistant). I am a third-year pre-vet student at UPEI. I have a strong passion for caring for animals and that is why I am pursuing the Veterinary Medicine route. I love my job and being a student in the field. I am looking to help people in need with their fur babies through sitting and walking. I do have a Golden Retriever back home in NB (but not on the island with me unfortunately). I am able to come by and check on the fur babies approximately every 4-5 hours since I am a full-time student, but I do have some gaps in my schedule that permits me to do so. On weekends I am flexible. For walking, I can in the afternoons Tuesday-Sunday. For mornings, after 9:30 Wednesdays and Fridays. I am the most flexible on Saturdays and Sundays. I am also available any evening. In my home, I would have to check with my roommates upon request depending on how long the pet sitting would be. In other people’s home and in my home would be similar, however, I would prefer other people’s homes. I am very good with playing with them to keep them busy. I would love to give them plenty of cuddles and attention (if they are comfortable with it). I would take them out (if dog) on a regular schedule and clean the litter regularly (if cat). I also would take the dogs on walks as many times as needed/requested. I want the pets to feel like their daily schedule with me would feel the same as the one’s with their owners. I care for other people’s animals like my own.
About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was 4, first animal being a yellow canary named Sunshine. Since then I’ve never lived without pets. I have the most experience with cats, but have owned dogs, fish, hamsters and lizards. Comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I’m currently unemployed and have all kinds of time to provide the best care for your animals when life gets in the way. I will be available on a daily, weekly or occasional basis. I will treat all animals with the care and comfort I provide my own. I have an 4X4 and love taking adventures which provides lots of room for companions to accompany me on hikes.
“Christeen is very caring, professional and attentive to my dogs’ needs. I very much enjoyed having her come and spend time with the pups, and especially liked the daily reports I received. Would definitely recommend Christeen to anyone looking for someone to take care of their furry family members.”

About: Hi, I’m Zakia, an undergraduate student at Dalhousie University ! I’m a passionate animal lover based in Moncton, living in a cozy 2-bedroom apartment with my partner — who’s just as obsessed with animals as I am. Together, we love creating a safe, loving, and playful environment for any furry guest that comes through our door. I have experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities — from gentle giants like Rottweilers to tiny, sassy Shih Tzus and energetic puppies. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m always happy to adjust to their unique needs, routines, and quirks. Whether your pet loves long walks, extra playtime, or just curling up for a cuddle, I’m here to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and at home. What I Offer: • Cozy, pet-friendly 2-bedroom apartment for boarding or daycare • Experienced with all sizes & breeds: from large dogs to tiny pups • Patient, loving care for shy, anxious, or high-energy pets • Daily photo/video updates so you’re always in the loop • Long walks, playtime, or chill company — whatever your pet prefers • Two animal lovers = double the attention and snuggles! As my university is closed for the summer, I am 24/7 free to take care of your beloved pets. I can easily make a commute in Halifax. I have a safe environment and a big space in my apartment to take care of your pets . All my housemates are pet friendly and they also love pets.
About: I’ve had my own super anxious cat for 6.5 years, so I’m used to pets with big feelings. I’m also an anxiety therapist, which definitely comes in handy with nervous animals. I grew up walking and caring for family dogs and even walked dogs as a teen. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away. I own two mental health clinics and my role is now very hands off, which gives me plenty of flexibility in my weekly routine. I’m looking for something meaningful to do with my spare time, and caring for animals is the perfect fit. Pet care is easy to schedule into my days, and I love having the chance to spend time with pets while their owners are away. I focus on caring for pets in their own home so they can stay in a space that feels familiar and comfortable. I am always the person friends and family ask to look after their animals, so I take routines seriously. I follow feeding schedules, refresh water, keep litter boxes clean, give walks and playtime, and make sure they get lots of attention. I will follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for while you are away.
“April, was amazing! Showed up as scheduled even when the weather was less then ideal. Respectful of our property, our cats obviously loved her visits as they were quite content when we returned home. Thanks April again ?”
