“I can't say enough good things about Erika. She was so accommodating, as I had some unexpected events happen and could not care for my dogs for a few days. Erika took such great care of my two mini dachshunds, they settled right in with her. Erika has a such a calm and kind presence and the dogs took to her and her boyfriend right away. Even though the separation causes them anxiety, they were so well settled that being reunited with me after a few days was a smooth transition. About: i’ve taken care of dogs and i’m comfortable with any animal. I’ve done it for a couple years for family and friends. To feed and walk them and take them outside and play with them. Also have done overnight babysitting for dogs. I do not work in the summer and I am mostly available all days during the week and weekends. It will not be problem to find time during the summer at my client’s house. On weekends I am flexible. For walking, I can in the afternoons Tuesday-Sunday. For mornings, after 9:30 Wednesdays and Fridays. I am the most flexible on Saturdays and Sundays. I am also available any evening. In my home, I would have to check with my roommates upon request depending on how long the pet sitting would be. In other people’s home and in my home would be similar, however, I would prefer other people’s homes. I am very good with playing with them to keep them busy. I would love to give them plenty of cuddles and attention (if they are comfortable with it). I would take them out (if dog) on a regular schedule and clean the litter regularly (if cat). I also would take the dogs on walks as many times as needed/requested. I want the pets to feel like their daily schedule with me would feel the same as the one’s with their owners. About: Hi! I’ve been taking care of pets and animals of all kinds ever since I was a teenager who wanted to be a vet (I’m not!). I’ve worked in a vet clinic, boarding facility and on a horse farm. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have a soft spot for senior fur-friends. I’m comfortable giving meds, grooming and with other special needs. I typically work from home one day during the week and am close enough to come home during the day at lunch for outside breaks. We live on a couple of acres and have a 6 year old, extremely friendly, lab and 2 year old cat at home. The yard is not fenced, so it would be leash walks for any visitors. Depending on the comfort level and habits of the dog, visiting fur-friends would be crated when no one is home.

My childhood years were spent looking after dogs, cats, frogs, fish, hamsters, rabbits and just about everything else! I live on a 15 acre country farm property that includes a 1km wooded backyard walking trail and a spacious fenced (electric) backyard homed to our friendly resident goats 🐐My house is a small one bedroom cottage house but perfect to host one large dog or two medium sized! All dogs will remain on leash unless specified otherwise from owner.
