“Super belle expérience avec Janick et Sophia pour la garde de notre gros toutou. Ils s'en sont très bien occupés, nous ont envoyé des photos et des résumés de ce qu'Hulk avait fait dans la journée. Nous leur confierons avec plaisir une prochaine fois.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 7 years old my family has always had dogs and cats. I have also worked at Mondou the pet store for 4 years. I have also trained dogs for many years now .family and friends rely on me to pet sit for them all the time as I am the person they trust with their fur babies. I am currently on Matt leave with my 3rd baby, I am home full time making me fully available to dog sit and give lots of time . I have a fully fenced yard and a fully dog proof home . My house is big enough to be able to separate your dog if they do not like other dogs . I have dogs that can entertain and keep your dog company and kids that absolutely love dogs and have so much love to give

“Charmaine is an absolute delight. We knew right from the meet & greet that our Huggle (husky-beagle mix) would be in good hands. She clearly loves dogs and has a lot of experience caring for them. Her location is perfect for long walks in an ideal setting. Charmaine also updated us regularly with photos and texts. We would not hesitate to recommend her.”
“Thor and I would definitely recommend Corina (and her friendly pup Dex as well!). She did everything to ensure that Thor was comfortable and felt secure, even letting him sleep in her bed! She sent me updates to let me know how he was doing, which was appreciated. We will book with her again! Thank you so much Corina for taking such excellent care of Thor!”

“This was our first time using Rover and we hit the jackpot ! Tania was amazing! She consistently provided updates and pictures, and made us feel that our fur baby was in great hands! We will definitely be booking with Tania again 😻”

“Joni is one of the best dog sitters I met. Responsible and kind, she is always so quick to reply. She sent out every day so many lovely photos with heart-warming updates. I can sure see our beloved family dog Lucky had a great time in her big back yard. She is wonderful and thoughtful, always quick to propose helpful accommodations. Joni would certainly be my number 1 choice for any of my future dog sitting bookings.”

“Claudine was everything you would want from a professional and an absolute dog lover. This being our first time with this service, she was great at putting us at ease with everything. She took wonderful care of our Kiba and we received so many wonderful updates that we felt like we weren’t apart from Kiba. Claudine’s care of kiba was 2nd to none. She was gentle with Kiba when he felt a little homesick and always kept his spirits high with wonderful walks and plays. I absolutely recommend Claudine 100% and will definitely be the first call I make when we need a sitter again. Thank you so much Claudine!!! :)”

“Charlie had stayed with Anh and her family for 9 nights for the first time. Although he never stayed with non- family member before, I felt at ease and safe leaving Charlie with Anh. She took care as if he was her own. I received daily updates and photos of Charlie, including an overall summary of his time at the end of his boarding. Thank you Anh and your family for taking a good care of Charlie. I will definitely be using your services again.”

“Nous avons été très satisfait des soins et de l’attention que Jungwan et Jihoon ont donnés a notre petits Jules. Des la première rencontre nous savions que nous pouvions partir en paix et profiter de notre fin de semaine sans ce soucier comment allait être Jules . Ils nous ont envoyé des photos et des messages. Je recommande sans hésitation ces 2 merveilleuses personnes a garder votre chiens ! Un gros merci, a la prochaine !”

About: Hi! My name is Véronique, and I’m a true animal lover. I have two cats of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pet while you’re away. I work primarily from home, which allows me to provide plenty of companionship, supervision, and individualized care throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I live in a quiet home in Saint-Lazare, surrounded by great walking trails and green spaces. To ensure every pet receives the attention they deserve, I only care for a small number of animals at a time. You’ll receive regular updates and photos during your pet’s stay, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in caring hands. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel safe, loved, and cared for as if they were part of my own family. ******* Bonjour! “Agathe was very caring towards our pup! She took him on many walks, and made sure to try and ease his anxiety. He got lots of cuddles and playtime. We could tell that Agathe is really a dog lover and that was comforting while we were apart from him. We highly recommend Agathe, she truly cares and is very kind. Thanks again for taking such good care of Banksy Agathe!”

“Although Keery's service was a tad bit expensive, she was very kind and cared very well for Yujo. He came back very happy and tired (in a good way) from his stay and did not show any signs of anxiety like he did when he came back from his previous babysitter. I'm sure he enjoyed his play in Keery's backyard. We also appreciated how Keery sent multiple pictures every day of Yujo and made sure we knew how he was doing. This service was worth the money!”

“Lin, Jing & Tini were fantastic hosts. As this was our first time leaving Skylar with a sitter, i will admit i had my reservations. But we’re so glad that Skylar was accepted. She had a wonderful time running through our host’s backyard snow maze with her new friend Tini. Our hosts were great with communicating updates and very easy to work with. So glad Skylar was in such good hands.”

“Carlos and his family took amazing care of Vanilla, beyond what we expected. We received daily pictures and updates and loved that. Vanilla felt great in their company and home. We could tell that she was very happy there and well taken care of. What a lovely family! We are extremely grateful! 😍”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Salaberry-de-Valleyfield

Sara is very communicative and friendly. She provided a loving home for my dog Snuffy with her family members including her own dog Wendy who loved playing with him so much. She has an amazing yard for them to run in and a comfortable living space. Looking forward to booking her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
