“Super belle expérience avec Janick et Sophia pour la garde de notre gros toutou. Ils s'en sont très bien occupés, nous ont envoyé des photos et des résumés de ce qu'Hulk avait fait dans la journée. Nous leur confierons avec plaisir une prochaine fois.”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was about 7 years old my family has always had dogs and cats. I have also worked at Mondou the pet store for 4 years. I have also trained dogs for many years now .family and friends rely on me to pet sit for them all the time as I am the person they trust with their fur babies. I am currently on Matt leave with my 3rd baby, I am home full time making me fully available to dog sit and give lots of time . I have a fully fenced yard and a fully dog proof home . My house is big enough to be able to separate your dog if they do not like other dogs . I have dogs that can entertain and keep your dog company and kids that absolutely love dogs and have so much love to give
“This was our first time using Rover and we hit the jackpot ! Tania was amazing! She consistently provided updates and pictures, and made us feel that our fur baby was in great hands! We will definitely be booking with Tania again 😻”

“Charmaine is an absolute delight. We knew right from the meet & greet that our Huggle (husky-beagle mix) would be in good hands. She clearly loves dogs and has a lot of experience caring for them. Her location is perfect for long walks in an ideal setting. Charmaine also updated us regularly with photos and texts. We would not hesitate to recommend her.”
“Thor and I would definitely recommend Corina (and her friendly pup Dex as well!). She did everything to ensure that Thor was comfortable and felt secure, even letting him sleep in her bed! She sent me updates to let me know how he was doing, which was appreciated. We will book with her again! Thank you so much Corina for taking such excellent care of Thor!”

“Claudine was everything you would want from a professional and an absolute dog lover. This being our first time with this service, she was great at putting us at ease with everything. She took wonderful care of our Kiba and we received so many wonderful updates that we felt like we weren’t apart from Kiba. Claudine’s care of kiba was 2nd to none. She was gentle with Kiba when he felt a little homesick and always kept his spirits high with wonderful walks and plays. I absolutely recommend Claudine 100% and will definitely be the first call I make when we need a sitter again. Thank you so much Claudine!!! :)”

“Anh is the sweetest and kindest dog sitter along with her son that loves my dog as if it was his dog. This is my 2nd time with this family and I trust them whole heartedly ❤️”

“Although Keery's service was a tad bit expensive, she was very kind and cared very well for Yujo. He came back very happy and tired (in a good way) from his stay and did not show any signs of anxiety like he did when he came back from his previous babysitter. I'm sure he enjoyed his play in Keery's backyard. We also appreciated how Keery sent multiple pictures every day of Yujo and made sure we knew how he was doing. This service was worth the money!”

“Ruth and her family were fantastic with Rocket. She was very open about what she would manage my dog. We had a meet and greet before she committed ( which for me is a sign that they really want the dynamic to work. She even sent pictures of the little pack and how my dog was doing. Thank you Ruth for giving Rocket a chance to stay with you.”

“Carolina and Francisco were amazing dog sitters, daily updates and pictures. Our dog was so happy and well taken care of. Thank you so much Carolina.”

“Ksenia is amazing! Otis has a great time with her, she was great with updates and communication, and very flexible with pick up and drop off. Super caring and a true dog lover- highly recommend!”

“It was my first time boarding a dog and I was quite nervous,Jessica went above and beyond to comfort us, she was great to deal with, and took amazing care of my dog, absolutely would recommend, will definitely use her service next time I need it.”

“I can’t thank Genevieve enough for the incredible care she gave to my anxious pup. From the moment they met, I could tell she felt safe and at ease — something that’s not easy for her. Genevieve made her feel completely at home, played with her, and gave her the attention she needed to relax and enjoy her time away from me. What truly set them apart was the thoughtful communication — regular updates with pictures and videos that gave me so much peace of mind. Her easygoing, calm personality was the perfect match for my dog’s sensitive nature. I wholeheartedly recommend Genevieve to anyone looking for a compassionate, reliable, and truly exceptional sitter. 🐾”

“Agathe was very caring towards our pup! She took him on many walks, and made sure to try and ease his anxiety. He got lots of cuddles and playtime. We could tell that Agathe is really a dog lover and that was comforting while we were apart from him. We highly recommend Agathe, she truly cares and is very kind. Thanks again for taking such good care of Banksy Agathe!”

“Emily was an absolute angel with Olga 🥰 She made me feel peaceful since the first moments with her and updated me throughout the whole stay! Her lovely family took really good care of my little munchkin 🫶🏼 It’s my second time requesting Emily’s time and I’m definitely reaching out to her for my future needs ! Thank you so much 😊”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
