“Jessica took such wonderful care of our Jerry while we were away. She kept us updated regularly with photos and messages, letting us know what he was doing and how he was feeling, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Jerry was happy, comfortable, and well loved the entire time. We could tell she genuinely cared for him as if he were her own. We are so grateful for all the love and attention she gave him and would absolutely trust her again. Thank you so much, Jessica!”

About: Hi! I’m Patricia, and I provide private, home-based care for small dogs in Terrebonne. I work from home, which means your dog is never left alone for long periods. I care for a maximum of 2 client dogs at a time, allowing me to provide personalized attention, supervision, affection, and a calm environment throughout the day. My husband Alexis and I share our home with Gotham (yes, like Batman’s city haha), our 11-year-old Maltese! We absolutely love having dogs around and treat every guest as part of the family. I’m skilled at giving lots of kisses and hugs while maintaining a clean and safe environment for your pet. I intentionally keep the number of client dogs very small. This allows me to get to know each dog’s personality, respect their individual needs and routines, and give them much more one-on-one attention than they would typically receive in a large daycare environment. I have experience caring for senior dogs, dogs with special needs, and pets requiring oral medication. I am also very attentive to behavioral and emotional needs. Every animal has its own personality and personal space that needs to be respected. I make sure each pet gets the attention, affection, and fun they need while they are with me, and I do everything necessary to ensure your pet is comfortable and well cared for. I do not have any breed preferences; however, due to my condominium's regulations, I am only able to host dogs weighing less than 15 lbs (6.8 kg). If you are looking for a calm, private home environment where your small dog can receive plenty of attention and companionship, I would be happy to meet you and your pup! Let me take care of your pet—I will love them like my own! I stay at home all day and I usually take a walk with the dogs one time in the morning and one time in the afternoon. I let them free to play with the toys I have and to take a nap when they want to. I'm very attentive and always keep a close eye on my surroundings to make sure the dogs have everything they need to feel comfortable and safe. Potty Training & Diaper Policy 🐾 For the comfort, cleanliness, and well-being of all dogs in my care, dogs should be trained to relieve themselves on pee pads or during walks. During their stay, dogs are taken outside twice a day — once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I also provide access to a designated potty area approximately every 3 hours, giving them regular opportunities to relieve themselves. If your dog is not fully potty trained and has repeated accidents indoors, the use of a diaper will be required when necessary to maintain a clean, hygienic, and comfortable environment for everyone. By booking my service, you acknowledge and authorize me to use a diaper on your dog when needed. I provide reusable, washable dog diapers for this purpose. If you prefer that your dog use their own diaper for personal hygiene, comfort, or fit preferences, you are absolutely welcome to bring your own.

- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's leash and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Sainte-Élisabeth commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in QC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
