About: Pour vos vacances je suis là! I grew up with cats and dogs and had multiple bunnies as an adult. I cared for sick pets as well. I've never lived without a pet and sometimes I prefer their company to humans. Depending on the pet, the needs are different and I would love to hear how you care for them so I can replicate it to make them feel safe and cared for even if you are far. I will tend to their needs, play with them.

Hiba was very attentive and caring for Boozer while we were out. She was so accommodating and was understanding about some concerns we had (a very scary experience with another Rover care giver). She put us at ease, and was a pleasure to work with, we would highly recommend her services! Thank you Hiba!

About: Bonjour, je suis Thibault. 🐾 - Hi, I’m Thibault. I’ve been a full-time house and pet sitter for 4 years, new to Rover but experienced through other platforms and word-of-mouth. I mainly do long-term house sitting, but I’m also available for shorter stays, dog walks, or drop-in visits. I love animals—especially dogs and cats—and I’m comfortable with special care, medication, and supporting elderly or sick pets. I’m also happy to take care of plants, mail, and little tasks around the house while you’re away. My goal: happy pets, peace of mind for you. - For a weekend or a few weeks, I take care of your pets at home. Check my availability. - I truly love animals. I adapt to them wether it's about burning load of energy daily or caring old or sick furry friends. I put high value in respecting your intimacy and privacy while keeping your house. You'll come back to a clean home with plants alive and happy pets !

About: I've worked with many puppies and dogs including my own. I love working with puppies and helping them learn new tricks, as well as older fur babies that like a slower pace. I currently work from home with a flexible schedule which means your pets can get lots of undivided attention, playtime and walks, and will never be unattended. I recently moved from Toronto to the Montreal region. I'm happy and excited to bring my services to a new community of pet lovers! I only offer house sitting and dog walking at the moment since I no longer have my own space, however I’m certain your pets will greatly appreciate being in an environment they are comfortable in and familiar with while you take a break! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! 🤗 I promise you will get all the best pictures to send to friends and family!

We honestly cannot say enough good things about Cristine. The day before we left, our dog unexpectedly had to go to the vet, which meant we were leaving him with multiple medications and a lot of anxiety on our end… we were so nervous about traveling under those circumstances, but Cristine immediately put us at ease. She went above and beyond in every possible way… following medication instructions perfectly, keeping us updated, and caring for him with so much attention, patience, and genuine kindness. It was clear she truly cared about his comfort and well-being!!! We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog and a spotless home… and most importantly, complete peace of mind while we were away. Trusting someone with your dog is one thing… trusting someone when your dog isn’t 100% is another… and Cristine exceeded every expectation. If we could give 6 stars, we absolutely would. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her and would not hesitate for a second to book with her again… highly, highly recommend!!!!!!

About: I believe animals are always communicating with us, and I approach pet care by listening first and responding with patience and care. I have 12 years of experience with my own dog and have worked through reactivity, anxiety, fear of noises, and leash pulling using positive reinforcement. I have worked with multiple trainers over the years and have spent a lot of time learning about dog behaviour and psychology, which has shaped how I care for animals today. I pay close attention to body language and subtle cues like freezing, yawning, or disengaging. When a dog seems overwhelmed, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled by creating space, choosing calmer routes or environments, or redirecting them toward something grounding. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)

About: Ive been fortunate to have always been surrounded by dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals at my parents rehabilitation center. I volunteered for the SPCA as a trained dog-walker for close to a decade and am unfazed by any behavioural /aggressive traits as I’ve fostered a range of rescues and owned seniors throughout my 20s. Please ask me any questions about the experience you’re searching for :) I’ve recently finished my graduate studies and work remotely part-time. My partner and I take care of our senior dog (12) so I am happy to house sit or provide drop ins/walks anytime. My schedule is flexible, let’s chat about what your and your pets’ needs are! Fenced in yard, spotless house so they won’t get into anything, and constant company :) I’m responsible but easy going, let me know your rules and I’ll follow them to keep your pet comfortable and on schedule

Ilia was fantastic. Although Oliver was not well during our absent she handled it very professionally and with care. She communicated with us frequently on Oliver's well-being. Which was very much appreciated. She stayed in our home the entire time and left it very clean and orderly. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a sitter. Thank you once again Ilia. Michaela and Dan

Friendly, tidy, flexible, and responsive. Lindsay cared for our cats and dog while we were away. An unexpected issue had occurred with our return flights, which Lindsay was understanding and flexible with. She followed the instructions we left with regards to our pets, and tidied our apartment before we returned, which was very thoughtful! We recommend her, and would use her services again.

About: I have experience with a large variety of animals, including many foster dogs and cats, many of which with their own sensitivities and triggers. I also helped foster a broader set of animals through my childhood, including geese and raccoons, and have pet sat too many times to count for dogs, cats, and bunnies I currently work an inconsistent field job, so my schedule is wide open when it is open... and the rest of the time it is closed for months. Please reach out and I can tell you what part of the world I'm in when you are looking for a sitter I am looking primarily for pet sits that include house sitting, so I can be available for the animals on a 24/7 basis if needed
