“This was my first experience using rover and having someone watch my pup for a sleepover. It was a great experience, I know Véronique from work and it was easy to trust her and Dan to look after my baby. They responded quickly and communication with them was effortless, I never had to wonder about my pup as updates were provided regularly and pictures sent before I could even ask! My dog was well looked after and as a bonus got to socialize with others. I look forward to the opportunity to do this again!”

“Melina and her family were the perfect fit for my girls! I loved the updates on how they were doing and the funny pictures I’d get send during their stay with her family. I felt very comfortable leaving my pups with Melina and her very loving family! She went above and beyond when looking after my 2 girls and will book with her again for sure!”

“I highly recommend Kathy. It is such a relief for me to have someone like Kathy take care of my senior dog Lucky who gets quite anxious at times. She made sure Lucky received his daily medications and provided him with excellent care. Thank you again Kathy for taking Lucky on such short notice!”
“Wow!!! Rachel is so amazing! She kept me updated on Mickey’s day. Walked him regularly and made sure he ate and the appropriate time. The pictures and videos she sent me were just great! I missed my puppy so much but having him stay with Rachel I knew he was in good hands! Thank you”

About: Located just 8 minutes north of Chelmsford; I have a lifetime of experience starting as a child on our farm with a variety of our four-legged friends including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs/hamsters (and some 2 legged friends - ducks & geese!) There has rarely been a time that we did not have animals in our home. I have and have had personal experience with 5 of our own canine seniors spanning over 35 yrs developing patience and empathy and adjusting to their stages of life throughout their lives. I am experienced with administration of medication, blindness, mobility restrictions and post-surgery care. In addition, I have Pet First Aid through Cdn Red Cross. In prior years, I have completed varying levels of obedience classes with all of our dogs as well as reactive training through the Sudbury Kennel Club with my GSD in his younger years. I carry those learnings and teachings in our daily interactions with all our pets to provide structure and a socially well behaved pet. Through the week, I work from home and at times in the community, but my flexibility can allow me to meet the scheduling needs of a pet parent when planned in advance. I don't mind last minute scheduling, since as we know life happens, if I am able to accommodate. Most importantly, I can be present and attentive to provide positive interaction, care and playtime for your fur baby. I am situated in a rural setting on several acres with a large amount of groomed yard and acreage away from the road. The main floor of my home is open for free roam. I offer a soft crate that remains open, to provide comfort and security if your pet has anxiety about being somewhere other than home and if you would like to make it available to your baby. My home is quiet and calm where they will have a great place to relax and carry on at their own pace.
“My girl Bowie has separation anxiety and isn’t a huge fan of other dogs, yet Cass was a consummate professional and Bowie had a wonderful time. I will never look at a different dog sitter again. I’ve found Bowie’s match. ❤️”

“Amazing! We booked last minute and Dorothy was so accommodating. Her and her family loved and cared for our tiny Pomeranian so well. We were late coming home due to snow and freezing rain and Dorothy was incredibly kind and put no pressure on us to be there on time - she wished us safe travels and offered us options for pick up. Honestly one of the best experiences we have had. Would absolutely recommend Dorothy!”

About: I have always been around dogs my whole life, almost everyone in my circle has one! I love animals and spending time outside so this is the perfect opportunity! I have good patience in terms of puppies, teaching tricks and letting your dog sniff around! A daily walk is a dogs favourite part of the day and I would love to be the one to give them that! I am currently working part time as a server, which is amazing so I work most evenings and weekends. I am also a student studying in the Medical Laboratory Technician program so I’d love to spend my free time outside and with dogs! I have a friendly medium sized dog that I live with who is fully trained. He is taken for 2-4 walks a day and taken to parks to run around! In a clients home, I would ask to be walked through the home and shown which doors to use. I would also ask which areas within the neighborhood the dog likes best to visit on walks. I understand the anxiety when it comes to leaving your dog and/or house in the care of another so I would treat both with the best care possible.
“I greatly appreciated Helena’s fast response to my last minute request for pet sitting. Her house is well set up for dog boarding and my dog was immediately at ease. Her dog Max was friendly to our dog and I could see they were going to have a fun visit together. Heena made sure to get the details about our dog’s habits and our wishes. There was a long lead and clothesline to allow the dogs to explore and play outside. It will be a great off lease area once the final piece of fence is installed. Heena was a pleasant host with whom I felt confident leaving our 2 yr old dog.”

“Choosing Gloria was the best decision for my little dog's 7-day stay! The thought of being away from Zelda was very stressful, but meeting Gloria a few weeks before the stay made all the difference – I immediately felt much better. During Zelda's stay, Gloria was fantastic about sending quick, reassuring updates and pics whenever I needed them. When I picked Zelda up, she looked wonderfully cared for; she looked happy and even had her topknot perfectly brushed. I will be using Gloria's services again in the future and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful dog sitter.”

“Lesa was absolutely amazing. She took great care of my special needs pup and provided daily updates and pictures. Tehya had the best time with Lesa- so much so, that she was less excited to come back home after our trip. Lesa was very accommodating and understanding when we had to make last minute changes to our booking. I would highly recommend Lesa- know your dog is in the best of hands”

“Jennifer and Mark were outstanding on every level. Upon meeting them, I sensed their genuine commitment to ensuring Roo would be left in good hands. With two dogs of their own it was very apparent that they are both dog lovers through and through. Roo was very well cared for and I received many pics of Roo enjoying her stay with her two new pals. I highly recommend Jennifer and Mark.”

About: I have grown up with cats and Golden Retrievers all my life. Most recently I had a Labradoodle Bruce. I did loose him to my EX but loved him dearly! I now have Mocha who is a 2 year old Simease. She is an absolute Doll! I have my kids who are both Teens around every second week and they will help with walks. Dogs wont be left alone for more then 4 hours at a time. I have a large home with a fenced deck. My yard is large and I am looking to fence in a section. I have alot of great greenspace out my door.
About: I’ve cared for my own dogs for years and have also helped friends and family with theirs, including large breeds. I genuinely love being around dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding, or just giving them attention and affection, I enjoy spending quality time with them and treating them like part of the family. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine alongside part-time work. I’m home regularly, and my husband works from home, so pets are never left alone. I make sure they get consistent feeding, playtime, attention and daily walks or exercise, depending on their needs and I can safely keep pets separated if needed for comfort. I provide a calm, safe environment and supervise pets closely at all times. I live in a spacious, pet-friendly apartment where dogs are welcome and comfortable. I have a friendly, well-trained 3-year-old Golden Retriever who loves playing with other dogs and is very gentle. I also have crates available if needed. Since my backyard isn’t fenced, pets are always safely leashed or tethered outside and are never left unattended.
