I work from home so am able to make sure the dogs in my care get lots of attention through the day and are walked daily as well We have a large unfenced yard perfect for play and also go on long walks daily. Let me know if you don’t want that and that no problem. I have a yard but it isn’t fenced in. Long lines or leashes are used. I have two dogs who love spending time with new friends! Crates are welcome and have their own area. Enrichment activities are our favourite way to pass time but we can’t wait to figure out your pups

In prior years, I have completed varying levels of obedience classes with all of our dogs as well as reactive training through the Sudbury Kennel Club with my GSD in his younger years. Through the week, I work from home and at times in the community, but my flexibility can allow me to meet the scheduling needs of a pet parent when planned in advance. I don't mind last minute scheduling, since as we know life happens, if I am able to accommodate. Most importantly, I can be present and attentive to provide positive interaction, care and playtime for your fur baby. I am situated in a rural setting on several acres with a large amount of groomed yard and acreage away from the road. The main floor of my home is open for free roam. I offer a soft crate that remains open, to provide comfort and security if your pet has anxiety about being somewhere other than home and if you would like to make it available to your baby. My home is quiet and calm where they will have a great place to relax and carry on at their own pace.

“We were very happy with Rachel's care for our Millie dog. Rachel was very attentive to Millie, she took photos and let me know how Millie was doing, seeing it was her first visit with Rachel at her home. Rachel was so welcoming, friendly and she had a nice little area set up for Millie. I really appreciated that, as Millie is shy at first, needs time to get used to her surroundings. When I picked Millie up, she looked at ease which tells me she had a good time. I look forward to next time Millie gets to visit with Rachel and her two little Chihuahuas.”

About: I have grown up with cats and Golden Retrievers all my life. Most recently I had a Labradoodle Bruce. I did loose him to my EX but loved him dearly! I now have Mocha who is a 2 year old Simease. She is an absolute Doll! I have my kids who are both Teens around every second week and they will help with walks. Dogs wont be left alone for more then 4 hours at a time. I have a large home with a fenced deck. My yard is large and I am looking to fence in a section. I have alot of great greenspace out my door.
