“Leah has been amazing with out reactive dog. I truly believe her drop in visits have made a huge positive change in our dogs behaviour. She's also incredibly professional, always on time and I trust her to handle our epileptic pups medication. Thanks for everything Leah.”

“Sarah is such a wonderful, friendly and a witty soul, she took care of our furry babies with love and care. Would recommend and will book her again. Thank you Sarah ❤️”

About: I have had dogs all my life, from big breeds like Cane Corso and Pitties to little breeds like chihuahuas. No matter the size or temperament I am prepared to assist in whatever needed. I can maintain basic training, I have taken a course as well as worked in a doggy daycare! I have always been the go-to for friends and family when it comes to pet sitting and walking. Feel free to reach out for references and/or a meet and greet to make sure you and your pet(s) are comfortable. I currently have two cats so pet care if heavily involved in my everyday life. Having a pet is truly a privilege and I believe that treating them with the utmost care and love. For my own personal cats, I have a routine for them that I like to stick to. Including specific feeding times as well as enrichment and other basic care like cleaning their litter boxes. No matter the routine (or no routine) I am very adaptable and can provide whatever care they require.
About: I have many years of experience looking after friends and families fur-babies. We currently have two pets; a Shih Tzu puppy and a Sphynx kitten. I am currently working FT as a Nurse at the Hospital, so my availability will vary every week. However, my schedule in Rover is updated regularly. I follow the instructions that my clients provide. I would also love to meet and greet with your pets. I am open to providing medication, if discussed prior to.
“Keisha is amazing and so sweet! She made me feel so much better about leaving my pet. Magic (our cat) loved her and I trust her 100% to care for her. Will definitely be using Keisha again when I go on vacation. 5 STARS !!”

“Quinlyn took such excellent care of our cat while we were away! She remembered every little detail and gave us great updates at the end of each visit. Would 100% recommend Quinlyn as a responsible and caring pet sitter!”

About: My dog rescued me 6 years ago when he came into my world and I haven't looked back since. While I may have only been considered a dog mama since 2019, with him having taught me so much about dogs as well as life, I grew up with a dog, who our family had for 18 years, from puppyhood in 2000 until her passing in 2018. I have also occasionally dog sat for close friends and neighbours. I currently work part-time, so while I am away from the house, I'm not away for long - I typically work 3-7pm weekdays, as well as Saturday mornings. My calendar will be set up for when I am available, and your pet will be well taken care of during our time together. Day care - I am typically available until about 1.30 most days as I have to work. If you need longer, please let me know well in advance. As I will be caring for your pet in your own home, I will be following any guidelines and requests outlined by you as the pet parent. Your pet's health and safety is of the utmost importance to me. Day Care Info For day care, your dog will be joining me and my own friendly senior lab, Mr B. It’s important that your pup gets along well with other dogs since he’ll be part of our day. We’ll be spending most of our time outdoors enjoying nature, with plenty of breaks and downtime as needed. I live in my RV, so our “base” is outside, and your dog’s needs and comfort will always come first when it comes to walks, play, and rest.
About: I have owned dogs since I was young and love them like crazy! Currently I don’t have any due to living in a small apartment. Not available for boarding or overnight care. Thanks in advance if you have chosen me with your fur babies. Currently working full time, available on evenings and weekends. If looking for check in’s, I can do morning and evening during the week, and several hours over the weekend. At this time I am unable to care for pets in my own home as I live in an apartment. However in your home I can do visits in the morning and evening during the week, and spend several hours with them on weekends.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Prince George choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace.
