About: 🐾 Dog Walk Special: Book 10 Walks and your 11th Walk is FREE! 🐾 I am a genuine animal lover who is absolutely passionate about pet care and dog walking. Beyond just a love for dogs, I have taken training classes that focus on a balanced approach, primarily utilizing positive reinforcement. I currently share my home with two wonderful, high energy dogs, a 4 year old Border Collie mix and a 2 year old Blue Heeler mix, so I am very familiar with keeping active pups happy. My expertise heavily focuses on handling nervous and reactive dogs, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable out in the world. Patience and understanding are super important to me. I am highly experienced with a wide variety of walking equipment and harness systems, and I am happy to align completely with your specific care goals and training tools. Your Pet's safety and well being are always my top priority! :) During the day, I work full time in the Environmental Sector taking care of this wonderful place we call home. Because of my day job, my Rover services are dedicated specifically to providing afternoon and evening walks with first availability starting around 3:45pm, perfect for those dog parents looking for a break and some tired dogs after work :) My goal for care always comes around to safety, honesty and transparency. I am happy to send you picture updates and notes for visits! The happiness of yourself and your pet should always be top of mind for any pet professional. I own a minivan for transportation which has 2 crates in the back for safety during transportation.

“Keisha is amazing and so sweet! She made me feel so much better about leaving my pet. Magic (our cat) loved her and I trust her 100% to care for her. Will definitely be using Keisha again when I go on vacation. 5 STARS !!”

“All was well with my babies. When I got home litter was clean, water supply was good, food supply was good and they had their toys available. All cat food cans were clean and rinsed which is important in this heat, not something I asked for so it shows common sense was used.”

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Prince George choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
