About: I live a life surrounded by animals (predominantly dogs and cats). I work with them and I am owned by 8 paws that I gratefully get to come home to everyday. Growing up with dogs in my home (starting at 5 years old) developed a strong respect and admiration for our companions. In the past 5 years i have learned and started utilizing positive reinforcement techniques for training and handling difficult behaviours. I am comfortable and trained in medication administration and nursing care. I am currently working three days per week so there are several days that I will be available to walk/play with your dog and/or dog/cat-sit I can offer care for dogs and cats in their own home and space. I find this is the most comfortable for them. I will not be able to be there 100% of the time so the dog or cat needs to be comfortable being home alone for 2-3 hours. If i work on some of the days that you are away your pet will need to be comfortable alone for 5-6 hours.
