About: A bit about me: I love dogs! Their pure and genuine happiness and excitement makes them a highlight of my day every time I see one. I enjoy meeting dogs and getting to know their individual personalities, likes, and dislikes. MY EXPERIENCE I’ve been walking my 40lb family dog for the eleven years that we’ve had her, and I walked our previous 24lb dog for years before her. Both are nervous, reactive dogs, so I have a lot of experience in handling pooches that struggle to maintain their focus and composure while on a walk (ie. that bark a lot and lunge when they see another doggo across the street). While I am comfortable with uncomfortable dogs, I will do my best to prevent stressful situations from happening by using high value treats, crossing the street to avoid conflict, or altering my route altogether. MY WALKS I will take your dog for whatever kind of walk they need: a stroll through the park, pausing to sniff wherever they’d like; a leisurely walk through the neighbourhood; or a brisk march to get as far as possible in our walk time. I do not take dogs for runs at this time. I look forward to meeting your dog! I work full time from home, with some flexibility for daytime walks. That means my weekday evenings and weekends are wide open to give your pet lots of attention and fun on a walk! Pets all have their own personalities, comfort levels, and needs. I let them tell me what they need and want, so my visits and walks will look different for every pet. Relaxing together may be cuddles on the couch with one dog (or cat! 🤍) and spending time on opposite ends of the room with another. Dogs and cats have feelings and boundaries too, and the best way of building trust is to respect those boundaries. As much as I’d love to give every pupper a big hug, that’s not what they all want, so the ways I show love will vary. Mealtimes, pee breaks, enrichment, walks, and bedtimes will be done as instructed by you, and with attentive care to your pet. As for safety in the environment, obviously if there is something that needs a quick response for the safety of your pet, then that will be prioritized right away! Medications may also necessitate crossing some boundaries, but doing so with care to make it as stress free as possible.

About: I have owned animals my whole life. I am confident and at ease around all animals. I am fit and love to walk and be outside. I have a well mannered dog I can bring for socialization:) I am currently working full time but have a rotating shift so availability throughout the week. I am available on the weekend but again have a rotating shift. I have a fenced yard with a special dog area. I have baby gates if needed and have room for kennels or dog beds. Have no problem with dogs and cats wondering my home.

About: I have many years of experience looking after friends and families fur-babies. We currently have two pets; a Shih Tzu puppy and a Sphynx kitten. I am currently working FT as a Nurse at the Hospital, so my availability will vary every week. However, my schedule in Rover is updated regularly. I follow the instructions that my clients provide. I would also love to meet and greet with your pets. I am open to providing medication, if discussed prior to.

About: I have owned dogs since I was young and love them like crazy! Currently I don’t have any due to living in a small apartment. Not available for boarding or overnight care. Thanks in advance if you have chosen me with your fur babies. Currently working full time, available on evenings and weekends. If looking for check in’s, I can do morning and evening during the week, and several hours over the weekend. At this time I am unable to care for pets in my own home as I live in an apartment. However in your home I can do visits in the morning and evening during the week, and spend several hours with them on weekends.

About: Hi! I'm Camryn :) I'm currently a Veterinary Student at the WCVM in Saskatoon. I started my animal care experience at a doggy daycare where I looked after multiple dogs with different personalities and needs. I then worked at a pet store, which allowed me to become knowledgeable about different pet products. I have worked in a several different veterinary clinics as a veterinary assistant helping veterinarians and technicians with procedures as well as, caring for patients. I have 2 dogs back home, so I am very experienced with dog care. I also have knowledge and experience with small animals, exotic animals, and cats. I am very caring and I love all animals! About: Hello fur mums and dads! I’m a super fun, protective and fiercely loyal friend and rescue dog mom of two beautiful boys and two spoiled princesses. It doesn’t matter if your fur babies have attitude, are high maintenance, loves to chill and be lazy - I have seen it all (and I love it)! I have been doing this for over 3 years now and I know and follow all Rover guidelines, I am hyper-aware of your homes security and will go the extra mile to leave your home the same or better than I came to find it! That’s MY guarantee. As per my client reviews, I really do care about pets (and their people) and I like to build that rapport with you and your family. I have experience working with dogs who have special needs such as tri-pawds (dogs without a limb), mesoesophogas, diabetics, dogs who are post-operation, and those with diet and medication requirements. I love seniors and puppies alike, and I believe in positive reinforcement and consistency. I will make sure to follow whatever you/your families bathroom/walking/feeding schedule, as to not throw your pet for a loop. Pet care is my “full-time” job. I put all of my energy into each of my stays. I worked for Federal Corrections for nearly a decade so providing supervision and community service is in my blood, so to speak. Animals are healing for me and they provide me with joy and unique learning experiences. I take away something from each pet, each stay and each family. Many people notice that I have my own (very big) fur babies and ask if I bring them along, or what I do with them while I’m watching your pets? Well, I’m blessed to have a wonderful, supportive partner who really is a 10/10 dog daddy and takes the best care of them so I’m allowed time away to take the best care of YOURS! I care for your pets, just as YOU would. I will follow your routine, feeding schedule, sleep schedule, training regimen, etc. as to not cause them an extraneous undue stress or anxiety. This is why meet and greets are so important to me and vital to continuity of care. For dogs staying in my home: I have a beautifully fenced and secure backyard. I have two trained neutered male dogs who are playful, balanced and welcoming. They love to have company and meet new friends. But if your doggo requires a more quiet environment - I have a separate comfortable space with safe and secure crates (both extra large and extra small) at the ready. So you don’t have to worry about lugging out your own! I am proud to say I have gone all out creating a plush, cozy, quiet environment, just for your pet! Complete with dog-friendly TV shows and/or music, ambient lighting, dog-safe aromatherapy and all natural treats and chewies for them to enjoy and gnaw on, if needed.

About: I have been around cats and dogs my whole life and I love them to bits! I’ve fostered both cats and dogs and walk my neighbours dogs quite often. I am very patient and enjoy working with dogs while they are still learning new skills. There is no greater bond than that of a dog and it’s owner. I like taking dogs on runs and long walks and love to get down and play with them. I have experience working with neglected and somewhat aggressive dogs who are still learning how to trust people. I have looked after a disabled dog and ensured that she got enough exercise and play while taking into consideration her disabilities so she wasn’t injuring herself further. I want to bring as much joy to their lives as they do to mine. I want to make sure your furry friend has as much fun as they can while they wait for you to come home! I am currently in my 4th year of nursing school but most of my class are online so I am very available to cater to your pets specific needs! I will not be taking dogs into my home but I can come to you. I let them out every few hours and give lots of attention!
