“I was travelling to PEI with a friend and my beloved puppy Lucy, at the time an 11 month old golden retriever. I didn’t know Kat and David so naturally I was nervous, but they quickly put me at ease. They were quick to accommodate any requests and went above and beyond by sending me little updates and pictures of what Lucy was doing. Lucy was extremely well cared for and I felt the humans had bonded a little too! Lucy and I both give 5 stars… so I guess that’s a 10 star rating ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: Hello, and thank you for stopping by my listing :) I have always had one or more dog (of varying sizes and personalities) and love getting out and about with them to the river, beach or park. I have many years of experience in Vancouver, BC as well as Portland, Oregon caring for homes and pets and really enjoy it. I am experienced with large breed dogs as well as small and tailor the walks to their energy level. Playing ball and frisbee are ways a lot of fun as well! I have a 13 year old son and we have a very social 8 month old kitten 😻 Currently no dogs! Care will be discussed based on individual needs. I am very flexible and easy to talk to. Please do not hesitate to mention any concerns! Also please mention if your pup is compatible with other doggos - if you need your baby to be the only dog for the stay we can make it work :) Since I work part time online from home I have plenty of time and love for your babies!!! They are usually in my lap or by my side 😊 I provide photo and text updates regularly and am always available to call! My extreme apologies, Rover was not notifying me of new requests for the past few weeks and I feel terrible if I missed your message. The website seems to be working for me now as opposed to the app! I tailor care to your needs. I do allow pups on the daybed which is kind of like a huge dog bed lol! If you prefer I don't no worries. I normally have them sleep in the same room as me so they are not anxious or lonely! Walks are provided as instructed depending upon energy level/being a puppy/etc! Your baby will be treated as a member of the family. They will be allowed to snugggle on the couch and can sleep where they feel most comfortable. I look forward to meeting you and your pup(s)! Have a wonderful day!!! I work part time drom home so I don't have any restrictions for availability or walks. Also good with dogs who need a human with them at all times :) I care for your pet as I would my own - like a family member. They will be shown lots of love and affection here :)

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs for friends and family over the years, which included daily visits, feeding, walks and overnight stays. I have a high energy dog of my own who is just over a year old. Growing up my family fostered kittens for many years which sometimes included administering oral medications. I work full-time Sunday-Thursday with varying hours each day. I currently have availability for walks in the morning or afternoons on weekdays, and would be available for boarding Fridays and Saturdays. My spouse Josh will be present for boardings, he is included in some pictures. I have a fenced yard for use, and a friendly pup of my own who loves to play with other dogs. I am most comfortable with on leash walks only, and off leash time in fully fenced areas.

About: Hi there, My name is Lindsay and I have had cats and dogs for most of my life. Currently I have an 3 year old dog and a 6 year old cat. As I personally love walks, I would love to have your dog join me! I am also able to check up on your furry companion and day-sit. I have a very flexible schedule and often available on weekends. I do ask for open communication or advanced notice if you ever need to change something. I believe treating pets like an extension of my own family and willing to do the same with yours. I am pretty clean and don’t mind tidying up after animals.

About: Hello fur mums and dads! I’m a super fun, protective and fiercely loyal friend and rescue dog mom of two beautiful boys and a spoiled baby girl pup. It doesn’t matter if your fur babies have attitude, are high maintenance, loves to chill and be lazy - I have seen it all (and I love it)! I have been doing this for over 3 years now and I know and follow all Rover guidelines, I am hyper-aware of your homes security and will go the extra mile to leave your home the same or better than I came to find it! That’s MY guarantee. As per my client reviews, I really do care about pets (and their people) and I like to build that rapport with you and your family. I have experience working with dogs who have special needs such as tri-pawds (dogs without a limb), mesoesophogas, diabetics, dogs who are post-operation, and those with diet and medication requirements. I love seniors and puppies alike, and I believe in positive reinforcement and consistency. I will make sure to follow whatever you/your families bathroom/walking/feeding schedule, as to not throw your pet for a loop. Pets can be very adverse to change, especially when their humans are away, so I’d truly love to have the chance to be your go-to gal for care! If you need someone to just drop in and take your babe to get their “zoomies” out, or someone to sit and distract your anxiety riddled dog - I love to do it all. I know life gets in the way of being the “perfect dog parent” - sometimes you’re stuck with overtime, maybe shift work; or there’s family emergencies and family engagements - maybe even a long weekend out of town - whatever the case may be, please don’t hesitate to give me a shout. Day or night, anytime! I have a clean criminal record, a reliable vehicle, valid (and clean) driving record to transport your animals (if needed) AND I am Dogsafe Canine First Aid Certified. I’m also an approved foster parent for the North Cariboo District BCSPCA and the PG Humane Society. Please know your sweethearts will be in very competent, caring hands during your time of need! Pet care is my “full-time” job. I put all of my energy into each of my stays. I worked for Federal Corrections for nearly a decade so providing supervision and community service is in my blood, so to speak. Animals are healing for me and they provide me with joy and unique learning experiences. I take away something from each pet, each stay and each family. Many people notice that I have my own (very big) fur babies and ask if I bring them along, or what I do with them while I’m watching your pets? Well, I’m blessed to have a wonderful, supportive partner who really is a 10/10 dog daddy and takes the best care of them so I’m allowed time away to take the best care of YOURS! I care for your pets, just as YOU would. I will follow your routine, feeding schedule, sleep schedule, training regimen, etc. as to not cause them an extraneous undue stress or anxiety. This is why meet and greets are so important to me and vital to continuity of care. For dogs staying in my home: I have a beautifully fenced and secure backyard. I have two trained neutered male dogs who are playful, balanced and welcoming. They love to have company and meet new friends. But if your doggo requires a more quiet environment - I have a separate comfortable space with safe and secure crates (both extra large and extra small) at the ready. So you don’t have to worry about lugging out your own! I am proud to say I have gone all out creating a plush, cozy, quiet environment, just for your pet! Complete with dog-friendly TV shows and/or music, ambient lighting, dog-safe aromatherapy and all natural treats and chewies for them to enjoy and gnaw on, if needed.

About: I have many years of experience looking after friends and families fur-babies. We currently have two pets; a Shih Tzu puppy and a Sphynx kitten. I am currently working FT as a Nurse at the Hospital, so my availability will vary every week. However, my schedule in Rover is updated regularly. I follow the instructions that my clients provide. I would also love to meet and greet with your pets. I am open to providing medication, if discussed prior to.

“Amanda took excellent care of my dog-reactive pup and communicated with me throughout. Grateful to have someone I can trust with my girl!”

About: I have taken care of pets for over 12 years and I understand the level of trust required to find the perfect sitter. I have lots of experience supporting dogs who struggle with leash reactivity, always using positive reinforcement and respecting their specific needs set out by each owner. I now have a Border Collie/Shepard pup and I understand the level of enrichment, love, and exercise needed to ensure a happy and healthy dog. If you choose to book with me, you will be assured your pet is in the best hands, with regular updates/pictures and videos. I am currently available for dog walking, boarding, or drop-in visits from Friday to Sunday. I also have a Border Collie named Finn that would love to have a buddy, so I would also be willing to socialize the two if that is what you would like, however not required. I will follow your instructions and care plan that you provide for your pet. I will also treat and nurture your fur baby with the utmost respect.

“Molly was great! She was on time, had clear communication with us, was trustworthy, and most importantly took care of our dog Wrinkle exceptionally well. I would definitely recommend having Molly look after your canine family member.”

About: I have been around cats and dogs my whole life and I love them to bits! I’ve fostered both cats and dogs and walk my neighbours dogs quite often. I am very patient and enjoy working with dogs while they are still learning new skills. There is no greater bond than that of a dog and it’s owner. I like taking dogs on runs and long walks and love to get down and play with them. I have experience working with neglected and somewhat aggressive dogs who are still learning how to trust people. I have looked after a disabled dog and ensured that she got enough exercise and play while taking into consideration her disabilities so she wasn’t injuring herself further. I want to bring as much joy to their lives as they do to mine. I want to make sure your furry friend has as much fun as they can while they wait for you to come home! We were fortunate enough to be their neighbors and she walked my dog Rachel (an almost 80 pound Labradoodle) for over a year, one to two times per weekday while I was at work. She lives a block from the beach and many parks are nearby her place as well. My dog misses her so much now that we've moved :( Hire her once and you'll definitely be back!!!”
