About: I have extensive hands-on experience in pet care through the years of fostering animals in a wide range of situations. This includes caring for pregnant dogs, raising litters of puppies and providing around the clock bottle feeding to newborn. I've also supported senior animals with complex health care needs administered medication for special needs pets and worked with dogs displaying aggressive, or behavioural challenges. My experience has made me adaptable, patient and confident and handling animals requiring extra care and attention. I currently run my own business from the home that requires me to be away from the home at my own discretion so I am available a lot during the day as well as into the evenings. My backyard is fully fenced, I have a six-year-old golden retriever, who is very submissive and has been great with all the fosters we have brought into our home. He has helped to calm anxious or aggressive behaviors, as well as being a nurturer for litters of puppies. We call him uncle Charlie.

I have lots of experience supporting dogs who struggle with leash reactivity, always using positive reinforcement and respecting their specific needs set out by each owner. I now have a Border Collie/Shepard pup and I understand the level of enrichment, love, and exercise needed to ensure a happy and healthy dog. If you choose to book with me, you will be assured your pet is in the best hands, with regular updates/pictures and videos. I am currently available for dog walking, boarding, or drop-in visits from Friday to Sunday. I also have a Border Collie named Finn that would love to have a buddy, so I would also be willing to socialize the two if that is what you would like, however not required. I will follow your instructions and care plan that you provide for your pet. I will also treat and nurture your fur baby with the utmost respect.
