I have cared for and have given the best care and love to animals such as, Guinea pigs, cats, turtles, horses, dogs, and pretty much everything else you can imagine. I was born an animal lover and every animal becomes my family. I can identify special needs in any animal such as first aid, anxiety issues etc I work from home, so your pet has 24/7 attention. Be prepared for your loved one to get 3-4 walks a day along with an hour play time or a trip to the dog park daily! I have a fenced yard. My golden retriever is very patient and loves all types of dogs. If your dog is allowed on the couch or bed, well so is mine. I would rather your dog be able to cuddle and be comfy right beside me during the night to make them feel trust, and feel more comfortable in a strange environment. I am able to make every animal feel like home. Just ask my references … if your dog likes burger patties from McDonalds or pup cups from star bucks… I’m your girl… I am very experienced with highly reactive and aggressive dogs as well. Unfortunately, I do Have a dog of my own, but can manage very well as I am highly trained with aggressive dogs. I believe all dogs can be trained in a well loved and supportive environment once triggers are identified I spoil every animal like it’s my own! Great with puppies and super forgiving. We all make mistakes even if it’s our furniture!!! I have tons of training experience to make this not happen! I am fear based certified as I am a canine enrichment volunteer at the Ottawa Humane Society

About: A previous dog owner, I truly loved and miss the companionship. As an animal lover, my son who is 13 now is ready and I would like to get him a dog so this is a good way to expose him to doggie love. I work from home all day, have fenced yard, big home and we are across from paths and green space. I love to exercise and I walk daily. I won't be taking more dogs than I can reasonably handle so you need not worry that your dog is one of many. Each precious friend will get the love and attention they deserve. If you want to board with me, your loved one must be good with kids. I will crate your dog if you require it but you must supply the crate. I work from home, my husband is retired so someone is always here. In summer my teen son is also home. We have tons of flexibility and love to go for daily walks in our neighborhood. We have a fenced yard at the end of a crescent street so quiet not a lot of traffic and we live across the street from a path and green space. We can crate your pup if required.

About: I am from a household of pet lovers - 2 bengal cats, a potcake puppy and a king cavalier. I care for these animals on a daily basis working from home. Taking care of these animals includes daily walks, basic grooming, changing/maintaining litter boxes, potty breaks, feeding them, giving them their medicines, playing with them, etc. I have dog sat for family and friends before but am new to the Rover app! “Selina and Pascal were amazing with both our pups! They went on plenty of walks, let them on their couch/blankets to cuddle and gave them alllll the attention. They even have extra dog toys and bed for their visitors :) They sent us plenty of pics throughout the stay; that’s highly appreciated! My dogs were both pooped when I picked them up. Highly recommend them (we are even booking monthly overnights for our dogs to get used to them prior to an extended stay). I will always book Selina and Pascal from now on :)”
