“We left our baby "Leo" with Mike and Yuumi for 3 weeks which is the longest time we were ever separated. It was the best decision we made. Mike took great care of Leo and sent us regular updates and pics. We got our Leo back as healthy and happy as we left him. He is active and playful which is a great sign of a good stay. Leo never lets anyone pick him up or pat him and the fact that Mike and Tao could do that even when we were there to bring him back was a statement on how comfortable he was with them. Mike has two dogs who are 4 times Leo's size and were really gentle with him and let him had his space. Mike knows how to take good care of the dogs and he took away our stress and made our travel more enjoyable because our biggest worry was no more. About: My wife and I have been fostering dogs and cats from the Humane Society and other rescues for 6 years, in addition to being pet owners ourselves. We have specifically taken on animals with health complications in need of special care, e.g. medication, physiotherapy, pregnancy, etc. As a bonus, my wife is a dog groomer with a salon attached to our home, so if your pet needs some sprucing up, we can help with that, too! About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life and have had my own cats and dogs as an adult on my own as well. I am certified in the Canadian Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR. I am very familiar with dog and cat communication and behaviours and how to work with both animals to ensure they are cared for properly. I currently have a cat named Rosie and a dog named Annie. Annie is 2 and loves playing with other dogs. She is fully vaccinated and very friendly. She’ll help burn out the energy of other dogs at the dog park no problem! I have also had experience owning other small household pets as well. Since I have the time and experience, I am looking to assist in helping people find care for their pets while they are at work or away from home. I have full availability at the moment. I am able to discuss discounts for multiple days/nights of care if needed. I have a fully fenced backyard and a large doggy door so that your fur baby will be able to use the door if needed and go outside as they wish to play/ use the bathroom. However, I will also monitor them in case they do not use this doggy door (Annie will show them how to use it!). I am certified by the Canadian Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR. I will also send hourly updates from 8 am to 8 pm to send a photo or advise on how your dog is doing and what they are up to. when taking dogs out for walks, I will ensure they are kept off of busy streets and only walk them when the pavement is not too hot for their paws/ grass or trail walks only. If taking dogs to the dog park, I will ensure they are monitored closely to ensure they are in a safe and happy environment without aggressive dogs. I will monitor pets eating and pooping and advise if there are any issues. I will ensure they have enough clean drinking water (we used Brita Filtered water). In the event the dog gets muddy or dirty I can bathe them as well.

Caring for animals is part of both my personal and professional life. I currently work full-time in a veterinary clinic and love spending my free time caring for pets as well (my own dog included!). I'm currrently available for evening drop-ins during the week and dog walks or additional care on the weekends! My top priority is ensuring that your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved, whether they are in my home or their own familiar environment. Every pet has different needs and routines, so I do my best to follow their schedule as closely as possible to keep things stress-free and make them feel happy and comfortable. I provide lots of attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, and whatever else may be needed for each individual dog. With my experience in the veterinary field, I pay close attention to behavior, comfort levels, and overall wellbeing to ensure your pet is receiving the best possible care while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing an adventure or a senior dog needing gentle care, I’m here to provide tailored attention and love for your furry friend. I can’t wait to meet your dog and learn more about their personality and preferences! I currently feed and walk my two border collies and cat everyday. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.
About: Hi! I’m an experienced and reliable dog lover with hands-on experience working at a kennel, daycare, boarding facility, and breeder. I am also in school studying veterinary medicine!! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages — from giant Irish Wolfhounds to tiny newborn puppies. I also have experience helping train new litters and working with dogs that need extra patience and behavioural support. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority, and I’ll care for them like they’re my own! I’m currently off school for the summer, which gives me lots of flexibility and availability for pet care! I also work a part-time job, but my schedule is very manageable and I still have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, drop-ins, daycare, etc; as long as I have some notice. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pets get the attention and care they deserve! At the moment I’m unable to offer boarding or care in my own home, but I’m more than happy to travel to clients’ homes for walks, drop-ins and, daycare. I want pets to feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible in their own environment!
About: I have been taking care of all types of animals my whole life like: cats, dogs of all sizes, birds, lizards, snakes, rabbits and fish i come to animals with a calming mood to soothe them. I am currently recovering so I am not working at this current moment making me available 24/7 overnight stays are not an issue and I can play with your pets for hours and stop by at anytime to take care of them I have two friendly cats and am not accepting boarding due to living in an apartment I feed them and change their litter daily and have no problem dealing with other cats

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 6 years old , I remember how scared I was when I met my first dog , his name was sultan and honestly he was the one who took care of me and after that my love for them just expanded and still every time I see a dog I fall in love them . I work part time so so you can leave your loved one with me at nights or afternoons and for mornings we can figure something out . Note - there will be an additional charge depending on the distance I have to travel to get to your house.(estimate $6-8 for short distances) I work part time , so I am mostly home I usually take a one dog at a time unless your pet is comfortable with other pets. Before we book I prefer doing a meet and greet where we can talk and arrange something that meets your needs. I currently don’t have any pets of my own here , but I have an immense love for animals especially dogs , I live in a townhouse with a back yard where we can play and we can visit the nearby parks or trails if that’s what you want for your loved one .

About: I’ve had/taken care of many different types of dogs/cats for as long as I can remember! I grew up with alot of animals in the house and currently have 4 dogs & 3 cats at home! “We left our baby "Leo" with Mike and Yuumi for 3 weeks which is the longest time we were ever separated. It was the best decision we made. Mike took great care of Leo and sent us regular updates and pics. We got our Leo back as healthy and happy as we left him. He is active and playful which is a great sign of a good stay. Leo never lets anyone pick him up or pat him and the fact that Mike and Tao could do that even when we were there to bring him back was a statement on how comfortable he was with them. Mike has two dogs who are 4 times Leo's size and were really gentle with him and let him had his space. Mike knows how to take good care of the dogs and he took away our stress and made our travel more enjoyable because our biggest worry was no more. I will recommend Mike to anyone who loves their dog and want to travel stress-free. Thank you, Mike and Yuumi, for taking such good care of our Leo.”
