“I dealt mainly with Fiona and she was lovely in alleviating my concerns (granted, I'm a worrier by nature!!!) in leaving our almost 2 y/o Choco Lab Scout. Took the time and had the patience to let me ask all the questions I had, as well as provide all the details about Scout's idiosyncrasies, likes and dislikes. She was wonderful in sending regular photos and videos of our brown girl having a blast in their huge backyard, playing with her pups. Was very flexible and accommodating when our return plans changed last minute. Would not hesitate to have Scout stay there again!”

“Cindy and Marc took such amazing care of my dog while we were away for 7 days. They made us feel completely at ease by giving us daily updates and sending pictures every day, which really showed how loved and cared for our dog was. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and treat them like family. We came back to a happy, well-cared-for dog and couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and caring pet sitters!”

“This past weekend our family used Rover for the first time and Adam kindly and quickly responded to my booking request as well as any questions I had. He kept contact throughout Nova's stay and sent us pictures along the way. It was FANTASTIC to be able to go away and have her stay in a safe, warm and caring environment. We would highly recommend and hope to book with Adam again in the future.”

“William and Hillary were great! They send daily updates and Harley had a mini vacation. Would highly recommend. Plus they were available for Christmas which was appreciated!”

“Emma and Victoria were great! They helped watch our senior dog with some mobility issues due to arthritis with such great care. They were able to give him his medications as needed and provided daily updates and photos to set our mind at ease. It was Django's first time with them and he loved it! Would definitely recommend! Thanks again”

“Eva and her family provided exceptional dog boarding service over the span of 3 nights. She goes above and beyond and incorporated our dog in her daily life. We came back to a happy and well-cared-for pup. Highly recommend her 5-star service!”

“Mike demonstrated great care and genuine interest in our dog Lego during his care for her. He was concerned when she wasn't eating properly and was having trouble going down steps. His communication was great. He provided texts and pics of Lego daily which were great to see.”

“Kimberly and her husband Kevin are fantastic. Orly had her first overnight and came home tired and happy. I know she gets lots of love and attention. She is looking forward to her next vacation at Kimberly's.”

“Melissa was extremely responsive, accommodating, and easy to work with, as always! She sent plenty of pictures of our dog’s weekend adventures with her dogs (aka our guy’s new best friends) throughout the booking. I couldn’t recommend Melissa enough if you’re looking for a true dog lover to care for yours.”

“Deborah-Lynn is simply amazing! She provided lots of updates and photos throughout Eddie’s stay at her place (4 days) and he had a blast playing with his friends. It was my family’s first time being away from him for an extended time so we appreciated it very much! Her communication was excellent as well, always keeping in touch throughout Eddie’s stay. Deborah also was very accommodating with my travel plans which required an early drop off and late pick up time. Thank you Deborah-Lynn, we will definitely be going back!!”

“Yaxnitza is very friendly and professional. She offered a welcome meeting and greeting a week before date of boarding, so my Bentley can feel more comfortable staying with her and her beautiful dog Lilly. In a week Bentley stayed with Yaxnitza, she sent pictures, videos everyday to assured everything ok. I'm lucky and feel thankful that I found Yaxnitza for my Bentley when I wasn't home. Thank you Yaxnitza, We'll see you again when we go away next time. Highly recommended Yaxnitza for someone looking for a dog sitter.”

“She had experienced to take care of pets. My pet was not easy to care for but she totally could make him happy and get along with others quickly. We were happy to send my pet to her.”

“Carey was beyond great! She sent us pictures throughout the entire stay. It’s very clear that she loves animals! She was great with communication throughout the entire booking process and stay. 100% recommend booking with her!”

“Can I please give Judy 10 stars?!? What an incredible person! She was able to take me at the VERY last minute! Ren loved her and seems to have not even noticed that I went away (he has debilitating separation anxiety)! He got along with her dogs, actually ate his dinner and breakfast and came back to me happy! Thank you, Judy, for taking such exceptional care of my dog!”

“Fantastic experience! Onyx was very well taken care of and loved his long walk at the park. Jayson was professional, super responsive on the app, and easy to coordinate with. We highly recommend him and will definitely book again!”

“Morgan is very friendly and really knows dogs of all kinds of behaviour. She made my dog feel instantly comfortable and took great care of my dog over the weekend. I already have another weekend booked for next month. Thank you, Morgan, for being so great to my anxious pup.”

“Andres is the best!! I was unable to walk my dog for a week so he was completely riled up when I left him with Andres for the day. Andres took him for at least 4 one hour walks and when he came home he was finally calmer, even the day afterwards as well. Andres is really saving me as an overwhelmed dog parent! Thank you!!”

She was very thorough in her animal care and her interactions with Spike, always sending updates and photos during her visits. I will absolutely boom again if I need a pet sitter in the future!”

About: My wife and I have been fostering dogs and cats from the Humane Society and other rescues for 6 years, in addition to being pet owners ourselves. We have specifically taken on animals with health complications in need of special care, e.g. medication, physiotherapy, pregnancy, etc. As a bonus, my wife is a dog groomer with a salon attached to our home, so if your pet needs some sprucing up, we can help with that, too! Both my wife and I work from home and I am currently on leave from work, so I have lots of extra time to devote to your pet 🙂 We have a large, fenced yard that provides ample space for play. We currently own three cats (Mouse, Graham, and Rudy), and a budgie (Fergus). The cats are used to foster pets (about 60 cats and dogs over the past 6 years) coming in and out on a regular basis and the bird is up nice and high.

About: Although my profile lists six years of experience, I’ve been surrounded by cats for as long as I can remember. My own cat, Finn, has been by my side for the past six years and is truly the heart of our home. Living with cats throughout my life has taught me that every cat has a unique personality, communication style, and comfort level. I’ve learned to recognize their body language, respect their boundaries, and adapt my care to each cat’s individual needs, whether they’re playful and social or shy and independent. I understand that caring for a cat goes beyond feeding and cleaning a litter box. It’s about creating a calm, safe environment, maintaining their routine, providing enrichment, and building trust at their pace. I also recognize that care can vary depending on a cat’s age, breed, temperament, and health needs. My goal is always to ensure your cat feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for while you’re away, while giving you peace of mind that they’re in compassionate and attentive hands.
“Walter housesat and watched our kittens. It was their first time being looked after and Walter was great! We felt confident with him watching our kittens and house while we were gone and would recommend and rebook him. We came home to happy kittens and our house was clean.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 6 years old , I remember how scared I was when I met my first dog , his name was sultan and honestly he was the one who took care of me and after that my love for them just expanded and still every time I see a dog I fall in love them . I work part time so so you can leave your loved one with me at nights or afternoons and for mornings we can figure something out . Note - there will be an additional charge depending on the distance I have to travel to get to your house.(estimate $6-8 for short distances) I work part time , so I am mostly home I usually take a one dog at a time unless your pet is comfortable with other pets. Before we book I prefer doing a meet and greet where we can talk and arrange something that meets your needs. I currently don’t have any pets of my own here , but I have an immense love for animals especially dogs , I live in a townhouse with a back yard where we can play and we can visit the nearby parks or trails if that’s what you want for your loved one .
About: Growing up we constantly had many different pets. May it be cats, dogs, birds or even fish. I love animals and the joy they bring, so as soon as I got my license I started a successful pet sitting business back home. Now that I have moved to Port Hope, I am looking to start back providing care and assistance to my fellow neighbors and their beloved animals. I am extremely patient and kind. I love all animals and if I am not familiar with a particular care process, I am happy to learn. I look forward to being able to provide my services to anyone who needs it. I do currently work 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday but my work is on a hybrid model and I live close to work. I am willing to come and help before work, after work and even on my lunch breaks if needed. My weekends are very open and flexible as well. I currently rent and have 2 cats, so taking care of your pet in my home is possible but restricted. While taking care of pets in their home. I will abide by all house rules. I will visit your home and provide a minimum of 3 walks a day for drop ins, if I am housesitting then more care will be provided. I will also brush your pets and if you wish more grooming services, this can always be discussed.

About: I LOVE kitties, so much that I may have brought home one or two who needed a home before asking my partner!! I have been a cat parent for about 7 years while also taking care of cats at daycares and in the shelter system. I have fostered kittens, socialized very shy and semi feral cats and provided many snuggles and playtimes to kitties in my care. I enjoy advocating for cat enrichment and love playing with them to see their prey drive in action. Between being a cat owner and working in animal care environments I have experience in the following: ~Administering medication (Orally, injections, topically) ~Feeding various diets plus monitoring water intake ~Introducing new cats to resident cats ~introducing cats to dogs ~Trimming nails and brushing fur, shaving mats ~Understanding body language ~Providing interactive play I am always hoping to learn new things about cats and get more experience with them. Cats are unique and special and deeply loved by their parents, I strive to provide the best care for them so they live long, happy and fun lives.

“Ed and his family were fabulous. Cooper made himself at home immediately upon getting there. My husband said it was so nice when the entire family came to the door to say goodbye. It was great knowing Cooper was in such good hands.”

“Cindy and Marc were amazing with Arizona! They kept us updated throughout the day, always very communicative, which made us feel completely at ease. We could tell Arizona was well cared for and happy. Highly recommend!”

“Sapphire loves going to Claudia’s. She has gotten to know Claudia and that makes it easier for me to leave her for the day. She enjoys playing with the other dogs.”

“Jacqueline was great with Cookie. She sent me lots of photos 📸 of her during the day. I could tell Cookie liked being there with her pup and her. She looked so happy in all her photos. “Thanks Deborah for taking care of Cookie! He had a blast playing with his new ? friends! Thanks also for keeping us up to date with Cookie’s activities. Highly recommended!”
“After our meet and greet a few weeks ago I felt very confident that Orly would be in good hands. Today she had a fantastic day with Kim and Murphy. Kim has very good communication providing great pics and a summary of how the day went. Orly looks forward to more upcoming visits.”

“I am so lucky that I found Jayson. Our dog is usually shy at first, but she clicked with Jayson. He is kind, caring and I feel so relieved when she is with him for doggy daycare. Jayson responds very quickly and communicates very clearly. His dog, Arnold has made our girl feel comfortable, which is amazing, as she can be apprehensive at times. Jayson will provide lots of photos during the day and keeps me updated on her walks (or hangouts in the backyard when it is too hot). His photos are always accompanied by a text, telling me how she is doing, how her walk was, when she had dinner, etc. I love that Jayson always gives off a calm and happy demeanor, because it not only makes our dog comfortable, but I do not worry at all about her while she is there. If you are looking for someone who provides a fun and calm space, a very chill doggy companion, and lots of care, I 100% recommend Jayson as your pet sitter/walker.”

“Cindy and her family were so friendly and kind! Mavis seemed right at home from the photos they sent us. I felt completely comfortable leaving her with them - would most definitely recommend, and use their services again if we are in the area again.”

“I honestly can’t recommend Praneet enough. Before meeting him, I had never left Crypto with anyone in the year and a half I’ve had him. Like many dog parents, I have separation anxiety too, so trusting someone with him was a huge step for me. From our very first phone call, Praneet made me feel comfortable and confident. Instead of simply accepting the booking, he suggested a meet-and-greet first. We met at a dog park where Crypto was surrounded by other dogs, and Praneet spent about an hour with us. During that time, he not only got to know Crypto but also taught me so much about dog behaviour and body language. I learned a lot from that one meeting, and it gave me complete confidence in his knowledge and experience. After our meet-and-greet, I booked Crypto for three days of daycare. I honestly started noticing a positive change in his walks within just a day or two. Seeing that progress made me decide to hire Praneet as Crypto’s trainer as well. Crypto is going in for surgery soon, so we’ll be starting our training sessions once he’s fully recovered. The biggest sign for me is how much Crypto loves going there. Every time I tell him we’re going to see Praneet, he gets excited. When I pick him up, he’s always happy, relaxed, and never stressed or panicked. In fact, he even whines when it’s time to leave Praneet! I have to admit, I was a little jealous—but it’s also the best reassurance a dog parent can ask for. Throughout the day, Praneet kept me updated with messages, photos, and videos whenever I asked. He wasn’t just taking care of Crypto—he was also helping me overcome my own separation anxiety. Thank you, Praneet, for taking such amazing care of Crypto. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about dogs the way you do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and caring sitter or trainer. You are truly the best .. I can’t thank you enough. Crypto and I are both lucky to have found you—even if I’m still a little jealous that he doesn’t want to leave you! 😄”

“Bruiser had a fantastic day playing at Dale and Fionas. Fiona was very thorough in reporting back to me how he was doing and at the end of the day. I would take Bruiser back there any time I need a full day of care. Thanks again!”

“Eva and her family were great! Oakley stayed with them for the day while we were moving and he came back super tired from all of their walks. The updates throughout the day were really great.”

“Emma was amazing! They took great care of my dog and kept me updated while I was away. Very kind, responsible, and clearly love animals. I came home to a happy and well-cared-for pup. Highly recommend!”

About: I've cared for my own two Shih/Poo dogs for 16 years. I recently said goodbye to my grand dog of 12 years. She was a Poodle/Schnauzer. My daughter is a vet tech with 10 years experience. I miss them all. I'm retired! I am at home all day and available any day of the week. Preferably 11am-11pm. I like walking and will play with your dog. I have a crate 4x3' if you crate your dog in the night time. I love to walk and perhaps your dog does too. The more I know about your furbaby, the better.
“Ashley has been an amazing help! Several times she has been available for a last minute booking which has really helped us out. Our dog gets very excited as soon as we pull up to her street and comes home so tired, we get a bonus relaxing evening off as he doesn’t ask for his typical “after dinner” walk. Thanks so much, looking forward to Ben’s next stay!”

“Cooper had such a great time with Alison! He was a very tired pup when he got home! She provided updates throughout the day and was very responsive to any questions. We will definitely be using her again when we need a dog sitter! ?”

“Bill was terrific. Our dog was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. Bill was accommodating and attentive, excellent communication throughout. Would recommend Bill. Thanks for taking such great care of our furry family member.”

“Our pup Artie had a great time staying with Ed. He got to meet and play with other dogs and had some great nature walks. He came home tired and happy each day. Thanks Ed for the extra touches like sending photos during the day. My whole family enjoyed seeing those. I would recommend Ed to anyone who wants their pet well care for and loved during their stay.”

About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life and have had my own cats and dogs as an adult on my own as well. I am certified in the Canadian Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR. I am very familiar with dog and cat communication and behaviours and how to work with both animals to ensure they are cared for properly. I currently have a cat named Rosie and a dog named Annie. Annie is 2 and loves playing with other dogs. She is fully vaccinated and very friendly. She’ll help burn out the energy of other dogs at the dog park no problem! I have also had experience owning other small household pets as well. Since I have the time and experience, I am looking to assist in helping people find care for their pets while they are at work or away from home. I work retail full-time so my schedule is kind of all over the place, but I’ll try to make your requests work if possible! I have a fully fenced backyard and a large doggy door so that your fur baby will be able to use the door if needed and go outside as they wish to play/ use the bathroom. However, I will also monitor them in case they do not use this doggy door (Annie will show them how to use it!). I am certified by the Canadian Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR. I will also send hourly updates from 8 am to 8 pm to send a photo or advise on how your dog is doing and what they are up to. when taking dogs out for walks, I will ensure they are kept off of busy streets and only walk them when the pavement is not too hot for their paws/ grass or trail walks only. If taking dogs to the dog park, I will ensure they are monitored closely to ensure they are in a safe and happy environment without aggressive dogs. I will monitor pets eating and pooping and advise if there are any issues. I will ensure they have enough clean drinking water (we used Brita Filtered water). In the event the dog gets muddy or dirty I can bathe them as well.
“Adam is very caring and kind. He has been a daily walker for us for a month now and takes our dog’s needs into account during challenging conditions, like weather, making sure she stays well. Adam communicates quickly if something arises and is very adaptable to time changes if he is able to accommodate. We completely trust him with our girl and she now looks very forward to seeing her new friend as well. I highly recommend Adam. He has been a godsend to us.”

“Walter showed up promptly to meet Stryker and we made arrangements for 3 walks while we were on vacation. He showed up, sent pictures and a map of their walk. Put my mind at ease while away that he was getting exercise. Would definitely recommend Walter to anyone looking for pet care. Very satisfied.”

About: I've had the privilege of growing up with dogs since I was little, so their day to day needs come naturally to me. Around 10 years old I took my love for animals to a new level by beginning to walk dogs in my neighborhood. The families that I worked for trusted me to care for their fur babies and I loved each of them as if they were my own. Over the years I have worked with a variety of dogs, small and large breeds, sweet & easy going dogs, reactive / more difficult dogs, and rescue as well. At the age of 21 I began working at a veterinary clinic and currently still work within the industry. The experience has given me immense hands-on knowledge and a deeper understanding of the medical side of pet care, animal welfare and everything it truly means to be a responsible pet owner. I believe the combination of my personal & professional experience as well as genuine love for animals sets me apart. I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable and loved and would be honored to provide that same level of care for your pets too. Caring for animals is part of both my personal and professional life. I currently work full-time in a veterinary clinic and love spending my free time caring for pets as well (my own dog included!). I'm currrently available for evening drop-ins during the week and dog walks or additional care on the weekends! My top priority is ensuring that your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved, whether they are in my home or their own familiar environment. Every pet has different needs and routines, so I do my best to follow their schedule as closely as possible to keep things stress-free and make them feel happy and comfortable. I provide lots of attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, and whatever else may be needed for each individual dog. With my experience in the veterinary field, I pay close attention to behavior, comfort levels, and overall wellbeing to ensure your pet is receiving the best possible care while you’re away.

I’m patient, dependable, and understand that every pet has their own unique personality and routine. As a recent Psychology graduate who works part-time as a suicide crisis responder, I bring a calm, compassionate, and responsible approach to every interaction. I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own, and I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos while you’re away. I currently work from home, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for dog walks and drop-in visits. I’m happy to accommodate regular or occasional bookings whenever possible and thrive on punctuality, communicative and being dependable.always aim to be punctual, communicative, and dependable. As I work from home and always surrounded by my own animals, I want to extend my love and attention to yours, whenever and wherever. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where your furry family member will feel comfortable and secure. I’ll carefully follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide. I believe in open communication and will keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away. Every pet in my care is treated with patience, kindness, and the same love and respect I’d give my own.
About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for dogs, especially Border Collies, since 2007 and have built a deep understanding of their personalities and needs. Growing up, I spent countless hours walking my dog, exploring trails, and using those walks as a peaceful escape. This connection to nature and animals has fueled my lifelong love for dogs of all breeds. When my Border Collie became a senior, I was her primary caretaker. From carrying her up and down stairs when she needed help to spending quality one-on-one time with her, I learned how to adapt to a dog’s unique needs at every stage of life. Currently, I live with two family dogs, Skye and Piper, and my cat, Lulu, which has given me even more experience with multi-pet households. I’m very mindful of dog behavior and body language, ensuring they always feel comfortable and safe. Having had dogs that weren’t always social with others, I’m skilled at managing walks and being aware of our surroundings. I always work on a dog’s terms, respecting their boundaries, and letting them come to me when they’re ready. Whether it’s a high-energy pup needing an adventure or a senior dog needing gentle care, I’m here to provide tailored attention and love for your furry friend. I can’t wait to meet your dog and learn more about their personality and preferences! I currently feed and walk my two border collies and cat everyday. My cat likes to come along in her carrier backpack for our daily walks. And of course I give them treats when they are demanded (in moderation). I will talk with my pets whenever they come into the room. Since I have border collies we are constantly playing with the toys, both inside and outside.

About: I have had cats and dogs since I was a baby! But I’ve been more responsible (walking, feeding, taking them to the vet) since I was about 12 years old. I work from home!

“Morgan is very friendly and really knows dogs of all kinds of behaviour. She made my dog feel instantly comfortable and took great care of my dog over the weekend. I already have another weekend booked for next month. Thank you, Morgan, for being so great to my anxious pup.”

“Once again Catherine provided great and loving care for our dog while we traveled. We are so glad to have a place where our dog is loved and cared for when we are gone. Catherine is great.”

“I could tell that Coco had a great time here! I got regular photo updates, and I could tell that he was quite relaxed and happy there. He'll definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Stefanie is AMAZING! We have never left our dog with someone other than family so this was a big deal for us. Stefanie was kind, kept us in the loop and gave us updated pictures almost daily while we were away from our guy. We would 100% have Stefanie watch out dog again. Thanks for caring and looking after him like he was a part of your own family. We truly appreciate knowing he’s in good hands when we can’t be there.”

“Priyanka was an excellent sitter for Bee! Her dog Link made quick friends with our dog and they had a great time playing hard, and napping harder 💤 Priyanka sent us lots of photos, videos and updates while we were away which made us feel confident knowing Bee was getting great care. I would highly recommend!”

“We were worried leaving Dexter with a sitter as he is generally very oriented and has anxiety issues. Lynn put us at ease the first day we were away with pictures that showed Dexter was happy and well taken care of. He got lots of attention and walks .We are happy, and sure Dexter was happy with Lynn and her husband. We would defiantly use Lynn again.”
