About: We have a quiet, orderly home with regular routines. Our last dog lived to be 16 years old and needed quite intensive care in the last year. We live in a quiet neighbourhood and are happy to take your pet to the dog park nearby or the Lemoine Point walking trail. I have few daily commitments outside of the home and am seldom gone for more than an hour or two. An anxious or timid dog would do well in my care. I believe in plenty of walks and playtime with favourite toys. I’m also happy to let them cuddle with me as much as they want.

Then along came my budgie when I was 10. I have a lifelong experience of caring for many different types of pets. I work part time throughout the winter and have a tourism business during the summer. My work schedule is generally 4-6 hour days with a few off during the week. Your pet's care would fit in with my own pet's care. My dog is young and energetic and loves to play with other dogs. We hike most days in the woods surrounding the house. I have a pup who loves other dogs (he would have to come with me for overnight visits). He is playful and affectionate. I have 20 acres of woods to walk in (plus access to my neighbour's trails) and live on a small lake if your dog enjoys swimming.
